Beat out Villa Rosa for me for the best pizza in Lower Bucks. The thin crust Sicilian tomato pie was great, a notch below Papa's Tomato Pies in Robbinsville but a good step above Bertucci's. The regular plain tomato pie was to my taste the best in Lower Bucks at least. Third on my list of pizza within 45 min. of Yardley behind Pizzeria Nonna and Papa's Tomato Pies. If you live near Morrisville, I don't think you can do better, closer.

The sauce was flavorful, the crust was the perfect density and not overly thick, thin but not a cracker, the cheese was high quality and didn't leave an unpleasant oil taste. My one issue, if you could call it that were a few tomato skin bits in the sauce. I know that most decent places import canned or jarred Maranzano tomatoes and some have skins, or bits of skin left. Still tomato skins are pretty obnoxious in pizza sauce, at least to me.

For the area this is the best tasting pizza you can get. The restaurant also smells heavenly so I wouldn't shy away from trying Italian entrées.

Edit: Gotta bump this place up a star, super consistent great pizza. Plus I tried a Stromboli, and the quality of every ingredient is just top notch. Delicious, consistently great pizza/boli. This has become my one and...

I stopped on a rainy Friday night for a couple of slices of I was on my way to an event didn't have much time was not planning to eat in the restaurant. It was a very busy time and there were few people waiting in the corridor to be seated and for take out food. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they accommodated everyone. Decor is quaint, the employees are friendly, and the service was fast. I saw a couple having glass of wine with their food. And the table had a candle on it. And I thought to myself a cute little date night. I ordered a flatbread sausage and a plain slice. Pizza with fresh and hot the crust was Krispy just the way I like it. I will definitely come back to try the eggplant parmesan I heard a customer rave high...

Just a quick lunch 2 slices of pizza, old style pizza hut building now a popular pizza restaurant. Only a few different slice pies to choose from, so I went for the basic plan. Seems to me that they run the dough through a press because the pizza is almost the same thickness all the way through. This does give it a better feel when holding it, no sagging or floppy pizza. Good job on that. The sauce is more on the sweet side and not too sweet. The dough had a nice crunch and tastes good. I was glad to see or better NOT see grease dripping off the pie. Over all its a good pie. The takeout area is small and can get packed, plenty of tables for dinner. I might have to come back and try the dinner menu. The cost for 2 slices was $5.80

I love La Villa, it’s the best!!! The food is beyond amazing, I recommend you definitely try out the homemade desserts! The peanut butter pie and the cannolis are the outstanding!! All the food is so authentic and very reasonably priced. Such a great friendly staff as well and great family business! I make sure to always check out the weekend specials as they never disappoint. Most Italian restaurants don’t offer free garlic knots when the bread comes out but these homemade garlic knots are complimentary with the entrees and very garlicky! Nothing bad to say about this restaurant!

Tomato pie with homemade sausage was delicious. Insalata di mare special was described as a seafood medley of octopus, calamari, mussels & shrimp, but only had octopus. Brought it up to waitress and cashier but they were all confused as to what we were talking about. They would look into it. Clearly if you want a customer to come back either you treat with a free dessert or other compensation. Not coming back. Sorry doesn't cut it. I grew up in the restaurant business, if you don't have the ingredients, take it off the menu!
