Miranda's Ice Cream Shop and Eatery — Restaurant in Morrow

Wonderful place in a quaint town that takes you back a little in time. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by staff who are very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about their products as well as good suggestions about how each tastes, etc. Lisa had a sundae and I had a strawberry shortcake special and we were transported quickly to ice cream heaven. The options were generous, but not overdone, the quality of the ice cream was tasty and creamy, strawberries fresh and wonderful, and the cake just right in taste and, again, very fresh. This business is in a former bank which lends a certain atmosphere (you can even go in the vault😊), and has a rather spacious back patio as well where you can eat outdoors (of course, there is ample seating both in and outside). I cannot say enough good about this place........ If you are in area or just passing by, this is a perfect place to stop and relax for a spell. If you are up to it, I'd definitely say that this is worth a trip just for the ice cream shop alone, but the quaint area is an added bonus as well. i used to like mirandas growing up but the girl they had working tonight was flat out rude. interrupted me while i was ordering, saying she wouldnt remember what i was saying (i literally asked for an ice cream cone and 2 chili dogs) and i wasnt ordering fast , i was in the food industry for over 5 years i get it, it’s stressful when you get a decent sized order. but then my fiancé dropped his wallet on the way out and didnt realize until we got home. so he was worried that someone might have saw it and taken it so we tried to call to see if it was there. he called 3 times before he got an answer, she said “no, no wallet here” and when we got back to the shop low and behold it was right where we were sitting. then when he goes to leave she whispers to the customer she was helping “that’s the guy that called 3 times” i am absolutely flabbergasted. if your one employee cannot handle working by herself on a monday night maybe you should schedule more people because that...

Definitely one of the best ice cream shops I’ve been too! The owner was super welcoming and very nice, and had a great selection of ice cream! I got the irresistible brownie temptation sundae and was so delicious, had hot fudge with creamy soft serve and a brownie at the bottom of it! The portions size was definitely generous and the ice-cream was really nice quality as well! Would definitely come back to try the other flavors. The shop is so nice inside with good amount of indoor seating and lovely back patio to enjoy the ice cream when the weather is nice!
