This is my absolute favorite place to dine for any meal. I love all the servers and staff who work there, even though I don’t know them personally. The food is always fresh and hot or cold if that’s the food!! The pop is very fizzy, which I love. Everything on the menu is very good, as I’ve tried everything over the decades I’ve been dining there. My favorite is the broiled Haddick fish dinner. Salads are crispy and fresh, and the sandwiches are always fresh. The saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) is deliciously fun. Clean and nice diner-type ambiance, which I love. Generous portions for a fair price. I hope that they don’t ever change a thing!!

The food is nothing too wright home about....Food was hot but bland....The breaded pork loin sandwich was barely just ok next to no seasoning. The fries and coleslaw were fine. The rice pilaf which came with the gyro was ok and the gyro itself was a poor representation of the sandwich....The meat on the gyro was poor and not worth the price of over $13.... The Saganaki was tasty...Would I ever go to the Golden Greek again..... Probably not....I want to give the restaurant a 2.5 but it won't let me.....Service was good and attentive

Still great food with large portions. Had my childhood fave breakfast = blueberry pancakes with bacon. 3 hot & huge pancakes filled with lots of blueberries. Side of bacon = 5 large slices. Lady across aisle had current special of roast chicken dinner. It was a massive amount of food, delivered to her steaming hot. Great casual diner type restaurant!

Been going to this establishment for over 45 years. Friends of mine used to own it. Approximately one year ago, my wife and I went to dinner here. When we were paying our bill, we noticed a sign at the register saying they are now charging a fee for using a card as payment. I simply asked if this included a debit card? A young lady rudely said yes. I stated that it was against the law to charge a fee on a debit card. A debit card in the State of Michigan is supposed to be treated as cash. I filed a complaint with Dana Nessel the Attorney General and it was reviewed. The response was they shouldn't be doing this. We have went back there several times since that response and they still continue to do this. We have never said anything since that one incident. Everytime this one young lady is there the same time we are, she rolls her eyes and mumbles something to her coworkers. Again, we never say anything and always have good service with other staff members. We have ordered carryout several times and once again if she is working, she is very rude to my wife. Tonight we went there for dinner and when we were walking in, this same young lady saw us walking in, once again rolled her eyes, said here comes that idiot and his wife that orders carryout soup all the time and directed her thumb towards us to another waitress. I simply asked her why she continues to be so rude to us ever since I made the complaint? She mumbled a few words to me and asked us to leave, I said a few choice words to her as well and we left. Approximately an hour and a half later, I get a call from a Macomb County Sheriff saying this establishment has asked me to no longer come to this establishment and if I do, it will be considered trespassing. It's an absolute shame that this young lady gets away treating people like this. We noticed her being short and rude with other customers as well during previous visits. I believe she is related to the owner, but not sure? This restaurant has good food and good value for the money. Most of the waitstaff is very good as well. We are sorry we are no longer welcome there after all these years, but with this person being allowed to continue to treat customers like this, we feel we are better off going...

We love Golden Greek! We come in on average about once or twice a week. The staff is always very friendly and the owner/manager is also usually visible in the dining room and a lot of times will get you your drinks and menus etc. We enjoy their breakfast as well as their lunch and dinner entrees. The dinner specials come with so much food, soup, salad, bread basket and Jell-O or rice pudding. Golden Greek is a diner type restaurant, decor is straight out of the nineties and although I would not at all call the place dirty, it could use a good deep clean, baseboards etc. but, generally speaking it's cleaner than most. The fish and chips are excellent as well as their omelettes and strawberry pancakes. I find their prices on breakfast sides to be higher than expected, sausage, bacon etc. We enjoy their burgers and their pitas, especially the chicken Caesar and chicken delight pitas. The rice pudding is excellent! Parking is tricky during busy hours but you can park across North Rose at the ice arena and walk, their is an entrance on North Rose. I would recommend the owner take down the sign in both doors that say temporary COVID hours, it's been over for a while and is a bad reminder of what happened. Overall always a...

One particular waitstaff person was ease dropping on my and friends conversation. The person made a political stand into a conversation which she had no business doing so. She was not even waiting on us therefore why would she be ease dropping?? Done with that restaurant as I’m not going to listen to a wait staff tell me about her political views and butt into a conversation that she wasn’t invited to do so. I’m done with this restaurant as that waitstaff person does not mind their business was the reason for me not to visit, as the food is so so. I eat out nearly every meal and there are many restaurants that are on my shopping list. This once or twice a week visit will not be missed as many other restaurants have food as good a better and equal a better service. The thing this waitstaff doesn’t understand is the customer is there for service not her political views. Sorry other to other waitstaff as I may be missed, never complain: easy to wait on always patient and consistently tip...
