I was taken by surprise when I ordered a reuben sandwich, it came with fries or slaw. That isn't what surprised me. The people working there were cool, no issues. However, by the time I rang out for it was over 17 bucks. No sign I saw ,had anything about added costs.and automatic tip. I didn't question anything ,then and there, but I get it use card ,tax extra. But when someone just tacks on a tip, just because they handed me a bag of food. This is the last remaining store. It has been run since the 1960's by Irene Szlachtowicz (Oma). She is still there today running it with her daughter Gita. They are famous for their Blue Moon ice cream and no Mount Clemens family goes without at least one photo of their kids with their blue tongues stuck out. My favorite is their Boston Cooler. Read moreI grew up in Harrison Twp and would go here as a kid and young adult before moving to CA. I was told it was gone. I am so happy it's still there!! From the reviews - it hasn't changed. Although - they used to hav milk too. Funny, Mom started getting Twin Pines milk, delivered by Sammy LaGrosso. All the kids loved Miller Bros best so went we got old enough, there we would go!!! As I think about this place, if reminds me of those great times growing up in Harrison Twp. I lived on Townhall Rd Lanse Creuse! It makes me smile even today. Blue Moon was my favorite !!
