Incident happened at roughly 5:50pm on april 20th 2022. Must have been a new girl taking our order cuz she had to ask us our order 3 times even after reading it back to us the first time and we overheard her asking another worker how to type it in. No biggie there. Gotta learn some time. However then we waited 12+ minutes on the 1 vehicle that was in front of us to get THEIR order straightened out (apparently there was issues with theirs as well). When we finally got up to the window they told us the wrong total and tried to hand us someone elses order. We explained thats not ours and told them we wanted x number of cheese conies. The girl at the window asked us what we wanted on them as if our order wasnt already noted somewhere and then we waited an additional 5 minutes while she turned and assembled our order, making it obvious that no one had properly rung in or even began making our order in the 12+ minutes we waited between the speaker and the window. (I can't imagine it takes several people more than 12 minutes to put a hot dog in a bun and pour chilli and cheese on it on a very slow wednesday afternoon). Then she handed us the food and my husband said thank you to which the girl at the window did not acknowledge his thank you at all or respond to his thank you and didnt apologize for the mix up or the extra wait. Then my husband asked for the 2 large waters we also ordered and the girl at the window turned and filled up 2 tiny cups of water and handed them to us. My husband again said thanks and the girl for a 2nd time did not acknowledge his thanks or say you're welcome. Then my husband asked for hot sauces and she grabbed several hot sauces and hurrily handed them to him dropping several of them onto the ground between the car and the window. My husband said "oh sorry" (taking responsibility for the packets dropping) and she for a 3rd time did not acknowledge he had spoken to her and did not respond or even look him in the eye. We finally drove away and i opened the box to find very sloppy food thrown together with no reguard of if the cheese even made it on top of the conies. Overall it seemed like the people working there this day didnt care for manners or customer service and dont think they need to speak when spoken to. Or like they just really didnt care about their jobs. I get its 4/20 but you can be high and still...
Read moreAlthough Skyline was closer, I decided to come to this Gold Star location for dinner... Big mistake... From the moment I arrived at the drive thru speaker I was met with sub par customer service. After waiting a while in silence with no greeting, a man finally asked for my order. However, he couldn't seem to get it right. Eventually he understood and rang up my order correctly... By the time my food was ready, the same guy had put gloves on and taken some unknown part in making my order, (after previously handling my cash and who knows if he washed his hands first). Then, as he handed me my bag of food I could see it was a mess, with greasy chili all over the handle. In fact, the bag was so messy that he was using the napkins he planned to give to me to hold the handles of the bag and he had to place additional napkins, crackers, and hot sauce in a separate bag. And the guy acted as though the hot sauce was coming out of his paycheck because he only gave me two measly packets even though I had three chili cheese sandwiches plus an order of chili cheese fries... Then, after driving to my destination, I saw that the chili cheese fries were made correctly, (with extra chili and cheese), albeit they were the source of the mess. However, the chili cheese sandwiches I'd ordered were made incorrectly as they had so much chili in them that the buns were super soggy and I couldn't even pick them up to eat them, (mind you I did NOT ask for extra chili on these)... When I returned to the store to give them the sandwiches back and ask for a refund, the shift leader came to the window and asked what was wrong with an attitude. I explained and then she walked away without apologizing for the mistake and inconvenience of me having to drive back. Then she returned with my refunded amount and once again said nothing in the way of an apology... Suffice it to say I will not be coming back to this location and I'll gladly give the North College Hill Skyline Chili my business instead, (after all they have WAY better customer service, tastier salads, and better...
Read moreTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE “MANAGER” Richard Jules! He started to take our order in the middle of taking our order he told us to “hold on.” We waited 10-15 minutes at the speaker he never came back. It was 1 car at the window 5 cars in the drive through. We called out multiple times to get our order took he never said anything back to us. We drove up to the window where he kept dodging us until we blew the horn to get his attention. He took the car order that was behind us while we still waited at the window for him to come assist us. Richard finally came to the window and we asked “can he take our order because we had already been waiting order 20 minutes”. Richard proceeded to say “ I told y'all to wait, I was going to take your order” but yet took other people orders behind us after we made it know we had been waiting. He took our order but then Got rude with us called us ignorant, told his staff to not make our order, & asked for our card back to “refund” us when we questioned him about the definition of ignorant. Not only that closed the window on us as we are communicating with him about the whole situation just trying to get our food. He laughing with his employees talking to them about the situation. Giving us our food just to drop it into my hand almost dropping the food just for the chili to waste in the bag. I have full videos of everything and as being a fast food manager once before I know how fast food management works & y'all definitely got the wrong person being a MANAGER at this...
