Seeing the high rating in general, my experience may not be representative of the average customer but this was my experience.
People kept raving about this place so my partner and I were in the area so we decided to stop. It was not busy. There was one car at the drive thru and one couple inside. Inside it was incredibly unclear where you were supposed to order. There were at least 4 people working and NOBODY came up to the register to take our order and the workers saw us but wouldn't even make eye contact with us. There was a couple waiting at the register too who were being ignored as well. We waited awkwardly for about 15 minutes before we, along with the other couple walked out without purchasing anything.
The owner reached out to me after and apologized for my experience which I appreciated. However, they offered a gift card for me to take down my review. I have some moral quams about artificially inflating a business's rating. This is my experience and it helps give potential customers a holistic view of a business and it helps owner's improve management.

Read moreI've been a customer of Icki Sticki since they were a hole in the wall in downtown Mount Horeb, but quite honestly I've been disappointed in their business recently. Today I waited quite a while for my drink when it wasn't even crazy busy, and then when I tried to purchase something else the workers seemed to not notice me at the counter.
As someone who works at a restaurant, I understand that orders are sometimes forgotten about, but the problem here seemed to be that the store was understaffed and that roles were not delegated properly. In this case, there was only one barista attending to both in-store and drive-thru orders. One would think that a business with 3 locations would make sure to staff them enough so that all responsibilities can be handled concurrently. It feels like Icki Sticki has so much to offer on their menu that they're trying to do too much at once, and as a result, workers are being spread too thin and customer experiences...
Read moreI heard the owner paid special attention to the quality of espresso and foamed milk-- unfortunately the girl who prepared my coconut cappuccino seriously scalded the espresso and couldn't get the coconut milk to foam (which I will be the first to admit is difficult to do). After a few sips I brought it back to the counter and explained the issue, and the ladies were very kind in preparing me a different drink to try, which while better, was still not up to the quality I expected. They refunded my purchase without my asking which was very thoughtful. Overall I felt the customer service was kind but I am sad about the quality of coffee-- I hope the owner takes more time to train new staff so the quality is high for everyone.
