Meadowbrook Country Club — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I had my daughter in law’s baby shower here and everything turned out spectacular. The venue was decorated for the holidays so coordinated perfectly with my “Baby It’s Cold Outside“ theme. The amazing breakfast buffet was served hot and promptly on time. Due to this forever lasting pandemic, staffing shortages are greatly hurting the hospitality industry, so Mike, the event coordinator had to step up to bartender as well and did a fabulous job. I had a great time at the Meadowbrook Country Club on May 25, 2019 when I was DJ for the wedding. The manager Michael and his staff were friendly and rolled with the punches. Rain and sloppy weather moved the ceremony inside, and that forced everyone to get creative with setup and logistics. It was easy to jump in and be part of the team to make the day run smoothly with a happy wedding party and guests. I recommend Meadowbrook for couples looking for a great country club setting.

The ladies in the kitchen used to make me a braunschweiger sandwich whenever I would visit them. Sometimes they would have pumpkin pie which would really make my day. This was in the late sixties into the seventies back when my dad was the pro. He was well thought of back then. Members really liked and respected him. The place still looks great, the old pro shop is gone I see but that's understandable. Anyway, stay out of the rough and enjoy a good meal at the clubhouse and have some great memories...
