Mismanagement at its finest. From the hostess exerting zero effort the moment we walked in the door, to the manager walking around without a clue what’s happening, to the lack of servers and bus boys/girls to help manage the number of people standing around waiting for tables/service. We were told the wait was 30 minutes, which ended up being 76 minutes. In that amount of time, we watched 4 tables finish eating, leave and then wait to be bussed for 15-20 minutes each. One server would walk by the dirty table and grab a few plates, then the hostess would walk by and grab 1-2 plates/glasses a few minutes later. There was zero communication or organization to efficiently clean off the available tables for guests that were waiting. We also observed tables waiting for their food for over an hour and about 20-25 minutes to pay their check. Once seated, the waitress was clearly stressed out so she couldn’t manage to even smile while taking our drink order. She was in a hurry to say that they’re “really struggling tonight due to short staffing so their kitchen is very behind”. We ordered immediately and waited 64 minutes for our food. DEFINITELY NOT...

Searching for NY style pizzerias near here showed this place as the only prospect unless I drive 2 hours to Texarcana or 2+ hours to Dallas. Went in ~3:30 on Wed afternoon and was the only customer there. They said their busy time is weekday lunch and Fri/Sat dinner. One take out order and a couple came in before I left. So obviously service was excellent. :)

Had the Big Sam (pepperoni pizza) and added crumbled sausage. Total cost $16. add a $2 sweet tea, & tax and it was under $20. Just me so didn't do salad or dessert. Will try other things going fwd.

Pizza wasn't a true NY but very close, & wood fired. Adequate toppings, really good thin but firm crust. Not a large really but bigger than a medium. Very good pizza! I will def go back again. Much better than the fast food pizza alternatives available here.

Plenty spacious and they even have an outside patio if you wish to use it. I did see they had beer available. Really nice place and sits right on a corner with a parking lot across the street as well as parking at the side of the bldg.

You should give this...

Good food, good service, great music!

I enjoyed the meal completely. I was in wonderful company too, so that certainly had an affect. They also, have a nice selection of beer. Overall, I had a lovely meal and would warmly recommend giving Nardello's a try.

I have only one negative comment but it is more just an observation and something that I feel if you go there with a certain expectation you may be disappointed.

I had a pizza, and their size is fine. One person with a decent appetite can consume the whole pizza and not really be hungry afterwards nor be left with the feeling of having ate too much.

However, in comparison of both size and quality... in my opinion... doesn't quite justify the price. It is not that they are really all that expensive either. It is just as I said, as I was looking at the menu, and you always look at cost... I developed an expectation of the meal... maybe the chef was having an off day and the quality was suffering a bit... I don't know.

As I said, I enjoyed it completely and would warmly recommend...

It’s hit and miss at this restaurant. I’ve been there when it’s been excellent and the last time I went there it wasn’t that great. We got the pizza called getting Figgy with it. The first time we got this pizza and actually the second time it was extremely good. Hot, fresh lots of figs and just really excellent pizza. The third time, Pizza was dry and hardly any figs on it and was rather burnt on the bottom, not very good. This was a girls night out and a going away party for one of us, it was a good time! I do have to say the restaurant is very lovely and very comfortable.

As a margarita pizza connoisseur I was slightly disappointed. In my experience, the perfect margarita pizza has the right amount of sauce, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, basil, perfect crust and tomatoes. This pizza had perfect crust, basil and tasty sauce. It didn't have fresh tomatoes, the mozzarella didnt melt quite right and it was dripping sauce. I'll be trying the veggie pizza next but hey, don't get me wrong, best pizza place in town, since we are comparing to little Caesars. 4 stars cause the oven is awesome and the guy twirling pizza dough created a nice atmosphere.

Our first time to Mt Pleasant, Texas and we found this quaint pizza place Nardello’s. We ordered 2 pizzas and hummus. Their food was tasty and their service was good. I gave it four stars because I thought the pizza could use a little bit more topping. They are also pet-friendly on the patio. It’s located on the town square. The courthouse across the street plays music from the rooftop and so we walked the square after eating. It's May and the town is filled with blooming red roses! Check out all of my pics to get the feeling!
