Starbucks — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

If I could give a negative star rating then I would. The service and quality at this Starbucks is terrible. I work right off Hwy 41, as well as, live in that area so when I get a Starbucks I get it from this store. I was thrilled when they opened because it was so conveniently located to my life. Unfortunately, the drink quality is terrible. I order the same 3 to 4 drink types and each time they are made differently. If I call because something is missing then they offer to make it right if I come back. I have done that twice but I can't always hop back into the car for that. Also, its crazy that I have to. A few days ago, I ordered a Venti iced coffee with toffee syrup. The syrup was so thick in the drink that I couldn't drink it. Today, I ordered the same drink and there is no syrup in it at all. If this was a one off thing then it wouldn't be that big of a deal but the only consistent thing about this Starbucks is that they serve inconsistent drinks. I have my fingers crossed that a Starbucks will open on Clements Ferry Road and be better than this one. A bizarre string of circumstances saw me on the outskirts of Mt. Pleasant at lunchtime on a Sunday, and, tired and hungry, I Googled a nearby restaurant, which landed me in this grocery-store Starbucks - not an ideal place to eat, I thought. However, this assumption proved wrong, for my meal went rather swimmingly. The staff were fast with my order, as well as smiling and joking among one another (how refreshing). The dining area was clean and comfortable, with adequate seating. In the end, I lounged around the place for over an hour, just reading a good book and sipping good coffee and enjoying myself - priceless! (A little thing, sure, but aren't those the best in life?)

So, big thanks to everyone at this 'bucks, for providing the scene of my lovely little outing. Keep smiling...

This in-store Starbucks lacks nothing in the way of quality products and service, and is very much open on 1-27-2015. The barista who served me was extremely welcoming and was intent on serving me and making my coffee experience a good one.
