Starbucks — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

This was our go to Starbucks location almost daily sometimes 2x, until my husband had the unfortunate experience with the manager yesterday morning. As always, he did a pickup order through the drive thru but decided to go inside and use the restroom. When exiting the bathroom the manager was waiting for him in the hallway and scolded him saying "the bathroom is for paying customers ONLY. There's a sign...." He replied that he was and he stopped in to use the restroom after the drive thru (the barista confirmed that he had just went through as well) She doubled down and said "well its not for drive thru orders either.." While we understand some locations attract unsavory individuals who frequent the facilities and ruin property, this was not one of those instances. Please think before approaching a guest like that again, as we will go out of our way now to make sure our money is...

This is definitely not my favorite location and unfortunately the closest one to me. I will even drive out my way to Daniel Island to get my drink made the way I ask. Now I understand that when I ask for extra light ice that I will not have a completely full cup of coffee, I DO UNDERSTAND! But when I ask for barely light ice because I have extra sensitive I am still getting a half a cup ice. And lately they give me less coffee but the same amount of ice so now I’m getting overcharged. I have never sent my drink back I just take it my cup and try to explain it better the next time. We stopped by this Starbucks and had a really great experience. The drinks were perfectly made, and the staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—which always makes such a difference.

The store itself was super clean and had a calm, cozy vibe. Whether you’re popping in for a quick caffeine fix or planning to sit and relax for a bit, it’s a great spot to unwind. Our drinks came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh and just right.
