Iâm saddened to write this review, as I once considered Jolie more of a friendly acquaintance than just someone I consigned with. My hope is that sharing my experience helps future consigners avoid the mistake I made by consigning with Jolie.
In early 2023, I began consigning with Jolieâs shop after moving to the area. I had previously consigned with Ensemble (which I highly recommend), but the distance from my new home to the downtown area made it impractical. Jolieâs shop seemed like a convenient and friendly alternative.
As Iâve always done when consigning, I set reminders to check in on my items. I regularly texted Jolie to ask about unsold pieces, ensuring I could retrieve anything that she wasnât able to sell, to resell on my own. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, I discovered this year that many of my items were missing â including high-value pieces like a Tiffany necklace and frame.
When I asked her associate for a breakdown of what had sold, the numbers didnât add up. Jolieâs associate admitted there had been a system conversion and syncing issues, which explained some discrepancies. But when I reached out to Jolie directly, hoping for more clarity, I was met with defensiveness and gaslighting. Instead of telling me she needed time to investigate, she accused me of implying misconduct and dismissed my concerns.
Jolie then claimed the Tiffany frame was a âgift shop itemâ and was never entered into their system â yet I later found it in one of her Instagram videos. This confirmed my worst fears: items I trusted her with were mishandled or possibly sold without proper documentation. So my question to Jolie was, if my Tiffany frame was a âgift shop itemâ, why was it not given back to me while I was in her store, like all the other items I have taken back in the past, that did not align with her brand?
I compiled a timeline using our text history and screenshots from her social media, identifying at least five additional items, aside from the Tiffany necklace and frame that were never accounted for. Despite my efforts to resolve things respectfully, Jolie refused to engage further, citing that her friend was very sick and she didnât have the âtime or energy to deal with thisâ. While I empathize with her situation, it felt inappropriate and unprofessional to use that as a reason to avoid accountability.
I consigned thousands of dollars worth of items and received a payout for only a fraction in return. I know Iâm not the only one â Jolie herself once mentioned another client who accused her of keeping items. That shouldâve been a red flag.

I was born & raised in NYC (please donât hold that against me âşď¸)âwhich means my standards are really high. A friend referred me to Jolie & let me tell you, from the very moment I met her, I recognized that I was dealing with a consummate professional who would not only sell my bagsâshe would treat them with kit gloves & the upmost of care. Months later, Iâm here to report that she has not disappointed! Putting her shop aside for a moment (which is not easy to do, considering she did a magnificent jobâI mean seriously, when I first walked in, I felt like I was back in NYC at Barneyâs), Jolie is a very special human being (& no, I had no idea who she was. Meaning, she was not a friend⌠though Iâm hoping sheâll become one!). She genuinely wants her clients (both sellers & customers) to walk away happy. In fact, I get the sense thatâs more important to her than the money. Sure, she wants her business to thrive, but unlike most consignment shops, Jolie recognizes that in todayâs world, itâs all about customer satisfactionâand in that regard, youâre dealing with a true artist. I am now both a seller & buyer. Her taste is so impeccable, I canât seem to leave her shop w out purchasing at least one item. Consignment shops are the way of the future (itâs all about repurposing) & the hottest new trendâbut not all are created equal. Whether youâre buying, selling or interested in both⌠pop into Jolie Luxury Consignment⌠rest assured, it will be your final destination!    Read moreFirst and Foremost, if you have not shopped at this boutique then you are missing out! Jolie and her team are absolutely amazing! (I love Jill) The customer service that you get when you walk into this boutique is nothing short of perfection! The first time I shopped at Jolie's, I immediately fell in love with this gorgeous Gucci duffel bag. I left without it but woke up the next morning (Sunday) and was kicking myself for not buying it. It was in great condition and Jolie even dropped the price a little for me. I emailed Jolie to see if the bag was still available and she called me within five minutes and said she and her husband had a wedding to attend but would happy to meet me at the store in ten minutes if I was available. So, when I tell you Jolie and her team go above and beyond, I really mean above and beyond. Another thing that I love about this boutique is the consigning process! Jolie's creates an online account for all their clients that consign so the client always has access to see any and all activity that involves their items. It shows an inventory of every item that you have in the boutique and it even has a breakdown of it has sold and if It has at what price as well as If you have requested to not have any of your items discounted.
