Don Señor — Restaurant in Mount Sterling

Food/service is........ "MEH" at best.. Let me elaborate.

First off, the "salsa" 🤣.. it's nothing but smashed and pureed tomatoes.. no spice.. no cilantro.. no onion.. no salt or pepper... just.... BLEH...

My dinner order was the Chicken Quesadilla Fajita with salad (with extra sour creme) and the (3) fish tacos meal. Along with a side of Churizo Queso dip.

The chicken was bland and very small portion, and the pieces of onions and green peppers were HUGE! , the quesadilla wasn't even a quesadilla. It was merely a large soft taco, as the tortilla wasn't cooked. It was just straight out of the package and thrown onto the plate.

I had to remind the waiter 3 separate times that I wanted EXTRA sour creme and my Churizo Queso dip.. (even though I ordered everything WITH my dinner.) I didn't get the Churizo Queso dip until halfway through my meal.

The fish tacos were........ well.. boring AF! And super fishy, really not a whole lot to say about them.. And they give you a side of Basmati rice....... 🤷‍♂️..... the rice served ZERO purpose..

The only positives were the portions of the dinner food, the diet mountain dew was on point, and the place is pretty clean.. but overall.. I give it a 2.5 out of 5.. You'll get full for sure, but there are several other better choices in Mt. Sterling to choose from..

My recommendations are to only go to Don Señor's if you HAVE to.. or if you don't know any better... or you have no...

0 stars. This place just handed me someone else's Togo order (Brooke W) , when I questioned them on why I only had one drink. Not two, they simply said I only ordered one drink. I knew that was wrong but I just didn't want to argue and went to my car.. I got to the car opened the food, it was the complete wrong order! I had a large order this was only an order of nachos and a drink. I took the order back in and they got so rude with me and told me they needed the drink back! I said my child already drank from it! And I solved the problem for them,, why be rude to me?! They simply took the bag taped a new receipt on it and put it back on the shelf to give the other customer. I'm sure that if I would've given the drink back they would've done the same. Extremely disturbing and honestly I will NEVER go back. It they are giving people food other people already touched especially during these times with covid and all, I would hate to think of what they do while cooking the food. $30 wasted.. oh and tried to call and tell the manager what happened and the phone just doesn't go through to anyone. I would definitely stay away from this place. Lots of OSHA...

I’m never one to write a review but I HAD to share this. I was eating here with my boyfriend- he ordered a beef chimichanga. I noticed a person sitting beside us who also ordered a chimichanga, however he ordered chicken but received a beef one.I watched him cut Into the chimichanga when he realized it was wrong, he sent it back to the kitchen.. a few seconds later my boyfriend and I receive our food and we notice his BEEF chimichanga is cut into. They literally gave him the chimichanga that was originally the person sitting next to us. We asked our server why it was cut into and he lied to us and said the kitchen cut it to make sure it was done?? Obviously that was not the case. The person sitting next to us even said that was definitely the plate he just sent back. This is disgusting and very unprofessional, that meal should have been taken to the kitchen and thrown away after someone has touched it. We are still in a pandemic- this is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot believe we were lied to by our server- it makes you wonder what else they do behind closed doors. We will never be back after giving Don Senor many...
