La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

The first time trying this place, I was very disappointed, with the food and the manager. This Restaurant offers delivery and the delivery wasn't too bad. But the food was terrible, I and other co-workers decided to order and all our food was cold and looked like it was sitting for a very long time. The food arrived about 12:30 PM and we all decided to eat it about 2 minutes after it was delivered. I just got Nachos, with Queso and Beef, with a side of rice. Well, it looked like when they made my meal they put the Queso down first and then put the chips and beef. So all the Queso was stuck to the pan and not the chips. The rice was cold and really dry. I had to end up putting the rice in with my Nachos because it was to dry to eat alone. Another coworker got taco salad that it didn't look too bad, it was just the beef was cold. Then a coworker got an and burrito and you can tell it was sitting because it was soggy and cold. So when we called the location back to talk with the manager. The manager was rude and told us that we should have taken pictures of the food and called sooner. We called them at 1 after a few of us ate and complained about it. The manager was not helpful at all, he would not take reasonably kept blaming us. From the get-go, he was in a defensive mood. At the end of the call we ended up telling them we weren't going to be ordering from then the manager turned around and said: "good we won't deliver to you again". Now the manager did offer us a 50% coupon if we ate at the restaurant. But that wouldn't help us much since we at work, and after how you treated us over the phone why would we what to take you up on the offer. At Week we order food all the time, and we will never order...

I am visiting from out of state and I was looking through the reviews and I thought this would be a great place to try. Got there right before 7 pm. My son and I ordered our sodas and then placed an order for the food. My son and I sat and talked for a while and no one came over to update us on our food, so I had to call the waitress over to find out what was going on. The couple behind us came in long after we were there and got their food before us. When questioned, we were told it was because they only ordered tacos. All we ordered was a burrito and a quesadilla. We sat there waiting and did not receive updates for the waitress and after an hour I decided we had sat too long and requested the ticket for our beverages. The waitress questioned the cook about our ticket and I heard him tell her that he never received it. I asked for the ticket again for our beverages and the waitress told us she wasn't going to be petty and charge us for the drinks. This was a very disappointing experience. They don't even deserve the 1 star it...

Update: WARNING!!!!! Same name under new ownership! Very confusing. I ordered my normal chicken chimi with sour cream on the side. The cup of queso dip was $2.99. So if you have more then 2 people you will need more!! My food was wrong, the chicken Lacked flavor. I've made better at home! My husbands food was hot in center cold everywhere else. Margarita had no salt on glass and was lacking ( slushy machine). Very Very Very disappointed!! It is sad that we lost a good Mexican restaurant in the area.

Good food. I have to admit I grew up in southern Texas, and I know good salsa. I've been searching for some good salsa. This is the place to go! Great food, fast, and friendly.
