This was my first experience trying this Jamaican spot. I’m always cautious because being from Florida and even traveling to the islands there is a certain standard I have grown accustomed to. I had the oxtail platter. $28.80 to be exact. I asked for the sauce over my rice which didn’t happen. No big deal. The price of the food is pretty standard when it comes to oxtails but the quantity definitely was off in my opinion. 4 oxtails seemed a bit low. I think 6 would have been better. Other than that the rice & peas and cabbage were good. To be in that octoberfest and handle the influx that they did handle I definitely tip my hat to them. Riddim n Jerk's food is amazing! My husband & I are obsessed with their food ... their oxtail that falls off the bone, curry goat, jerk chicken, jerk wings and beef patties 😋 are all of superb quality and taste great! The food was absolutely excellent for my table spread! The oxtail with potatoes was rich and tender, perfectly seasoned and comforting. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of spice and smokiness authentic and flavorful. And the Rasta pasta? Creamy, seasoned to perfection, and a crowd favorite at the table.
