Last night I ordered an 18” pizza, half with toppings my Wife wanted and half with what I wanted. The delivery guy couldn’t find our gigantic apartment building, the Belvoir Square, the largest building on Richmond Highway. Then apparently tried to deliver it to the Jimmy Johns downstairs... I know times are hard so I still gave a $10 tip. However when I opened the box the pizza was shoved to one side of the box from mishandling. What we got was burned and dried out. It was like they took a day old pizza sitting in the heating tray all day then changed the toppings then burned that too but the crust was still somehow raw in the middle. Tried to eat it but we just couldn’t. From the name I really thought this was going to be an authentic Italian pizza. Sadly I may not be ordering from here again. That was a $50 lesson learned. I’m willing to try again, I would like to believe that Vocelli’s product was misrepresented last night. It depends on...
Read moreI've been getting this pizza for 4 years now. Absolutely love the taste and the pricing is fairly mild. I WOULD have given this place a 5 star rating for the past 3 years. Quality was perfect and the pizza looked picture perfect. BUT, recently the quality has severely dropped. Three times in a row, the pizza we order well done comes back undercooked, with the most recent reasoning given by the worker "not enough room in the oven." Normally if the pizza isn't cooked well done I wouldn't have minded as much, but the pizza wasn't edible three times now. The first occurrence the owner offered credit for the next visit. This last visit they just ran the pizza through the oven again. I have two years of pizza making experience. The crust was thin and toppings lately have been scarce. Because of the inconsistency, we are choosing to go to other pizza places. Picture is of a BBQ chicken pizza from...
Read moreGood food, fast delivery, just don't bother ordering extra sides of sauce, 90% of the time you won't get it. The stromboli comes with one sauce, really needs two and the pepperoni rolls come with one sauce, also needs two. I always order, and pay for, extra sauce, and 9 times out of 10, they don't send it. The first few times I just ignored it, it's only like 75 cents for a sauce, but now it's just got to the point that it's really annoying. I mean how hard is it to read the order, and throw an extra sauce in there? Not having enough sauce to dip your stromboli or rolls into, can be the difference between a really great meal, and a just ok one. Tonight I ordered 2 extra marinara sauces and a garlic sauce, didn't get any of them. It's a shame really, as good as the food is there, it's the little things like that, that'll make me think twice about ordering from...
