First time eating at San Juanero’s, and it won’t be the last. The food was as good as I’ver ever had and better than any Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at in my hometown of Chicago. I suggest starting with the shrimp ceviche and freshly made guacamole. My group had the chicken and spinach enchiladas, enchiladas with three toppings, beef, chicken, al pastor sopes, and fajita taco salad. All of the dishes tasted homage, fresh, delicious, and there was enough to take some home.

My first time eating at San Juaneros and I was VERY happy with what we were given. I got the create your own combo a Chalupa, and a Chile Relleno. My husband got the Fajitas Clasicas both were a solid 10/10. We shared the fried ice cream afterward and it was also another 10/10 we couldn't even finish it. It was a total of $43 for 2 entrees a small cheese dip and a fried ice cream.

Server was a kindly old Mexican man. I asked about the seafood soup special, since the price wasn't listed, and I was on the fence about it. He told me it was $14. I got it, but didn't enjoy it; no fish, too many veggies. Then I was billed $18 for it. Oh well.

FINALLY!!! An actual Mexican Restaurant in Mountain Home! Sorry people, but real Mexican food doesn’t have nacho cheese smothered on top of everything, it just doesn’t.

Seriously though, this place is legit. I spent 37 years on the West Coast where good Mexican food is everywhere. Up until now we’ve been disappointed by what people consider Mexican food in Mountain Home.

Not only is this place good, it’s actually better than my favorite Mexican restaurant out west.

I had Chile Verde and my wife had the Birria tacos, both were delicious! They even brought out some of their own spicy salsa from the back which was excellent.

Prices are affordable too, by the way.

I can’t even tell you how excited I am to have genuine Mexican food close by. Tell...

Authentic Mexican food! Listen I’m a huge fan of Salsa in town, but this place knocks salsas out of the park ! Waiters are there when you need them! What may have been manager or owner checked on us. My friend asked if they had flour tortilla chips the man said they don’t but he can whip some up for us! Just outstanding! The flavor of food was 10/10. I got one of their specials(can’t recall the name) a bed of perfectly seasoned rice, cheese sauce, cooked peppers and onions with juicy steak ! Can’t wait to try more items on the menu! Tell all your friends about this place ! Not only was the food great, the atmosphere was just right. Oh and let’s not forget they had soccer on all the TVs! I...

WOW!🤩 Everything's on point at San Juaneros!! The enchiladas were amazing and the carnitas is rich in flavor (I was going to lick my carnitas plate, but it's not socially acceptable). The rice is moist and delicious, best rice in town! The beans have got to be made in house, they're amazing. So hard to choose what you want on the menu, it's all mouth watering. Don't forget to stuff yourself to the brim with dessert. Cheesecake chimichangas and churros were what we had tonight and they did not disappoint! Churros are muy bueno! Nice crunch on the outside, soft on the inside. Heaven!

San Juaneros is the Mexican restaurant that all the others wish they...
