Called in an order for take out, and I was told "25 minutes." I arrived at the indicated time, checked in and paid and was told that it would be "a few more minutes." Not a problem; and I stepped back to respect the workers by distancing and moving out of the way of others coming to pick up their orders. I remained within sight of the workers (and there were MANY; perhaps too many). And I waited. And waited. And waited. Each of the other customers (all except one) noticed me, politely asking if I was waiting for service. Since I had already paid and was told "a few minutes," I answered the others that they were to go ahead to the counter. I was clearly NOT invisible. Except to the staff. After 20 more minutes (!!), and being politely ask by a customer if I had been helped, I finally had to resolve that, no, indeed, I was NOT being helped. Suddenly, a worker noticed and finally asked for my name, and shortly produced my order of 2 large specialty pizzas. At this point, I could only conclude that (a) my order was never made until I came in or (b) it had been sitting, getting cold for the past 18 minutes or so while I was ignored by the very large staff. (Seriously, there were more workers in this restaurant than most of the other restaurants on the Mountain. Bella, Whistle, and Kings have all done right with my take out orders with far Less staff!). While I could see that this place had other customers (but had more than enough staff. .. there could have easily been one server per occupied table, the outside was closed, and only half of the tables were even occupied), I do not see any reason for their forgetting to hand me my order. Is there a management problem? With so many workers, do the individuals realize their personal responsibilities? After handing me my pizzas, I merely got an insincere "sorry for the wait" ... which was completely at the fault of the inattentive staff. You could/ should firstly, accept your responsibility. I can understand that people make mistakes. I do myself. But I take the responsibility and then TRY to make amends. Why not offer a discount on a future order ('cause I am not planning on bothering to return. ... you didn't respect my time or value my patronage. I have other places to go that do so.) Even an offer of a couple of soft drinks to make up for ignoring me would have shown some measure of true concern. But nothing. Ok. Moving on. Once I finally had my order, I placed my pizza in a thermal carry bag that I have, and drove 3 minutes to my home. The answer was clear. The pizzas were cold, so apparently they had been prepared. So the staff just failed to bring them out when they were ready. Too bad, and our meal was ruined - as well as what might have been a much higher rated...
Read moreBeen coming here for at least 10 yrs, I was extremely disappointed at everything. The Food was edible at best, not like the delicious food it usually is, and I was expecting. During the coarse of our unexpected 2 hr visit of just Sitting and watching others with the same experience and sharing upsetting comments and thoughts of the time. The only bartender/server on patio was now waiting on 13 tables and her bar, and had to seat guests as well as run in and out of restaurant, and clean tables, and search tv channels for customers. She did it all her self, not 1 other person helped her. Except when a specific customer was ready to leave that's when 3 waitresses came out chatted and took care of the check, didn't even clean off the table for next guest. Had to wait an hour and 27 min for an order of wings, med pie and fries, from kitchen. Wouldn't be crabby about this but when we placed our order, we only observed 3 other customers on patio with us. So I thought maybe indoor dining was busy, Nope passed by after using restroom and realized only 1 table indoors, and 1 in main restaurant area were being occupied with orders already on tables. Plenty of staff walking around and huddled together and laughing, then they'd disappear. We had 1 beverage the whole time, i choked on the dried out food that we tried to consume, lucky for us we had bottled water in vehicle to help swallow the lodged sharred of dough down as it scratched my throat. I walked out to get my water, I couldn't stand it anymore. And as more people piled in, it became apparent to us that we were forgotten about and invisible.
Food: Fries were burnt, pizza was cold and hard, wings were cold as well, appeared the wings were just thrown on top of sauce and plate, celery was wilted. The sauce wasn't the flavor we had asked for. Instead of saying anything we just decided to get our check and leave. The barmaid did awesome for being by herself, I hope people realize it wasn't her fault. If it wasn't for her I'd give no stars for this visit. Definitely won't be going back to this location...
Read moreMy friend & I went out for lunch on a Saturday @ 1400. We were looking for something easy and yummy and not too far away: III Guys fit the bill. There was only a really lite crowd at this time and we sat at the bar. We were served quickly, with our food coming out quickly. It was exactly what we ordered (they have a fairly large double sided laminated menu that was about @ 11 x 17 I'd say.) and was a great value for the dollar. The menu was unexpectedly varied and I suspect there would be something for anyone here. I seem to recall a few vegan / vegetarian items, but couldn't say what they were as I'm a "meat-a-tarian" and generally don't give the veggie thing in the menu much attention.
I had their white pizza and my bud had (what he said was a scrumptious) burger.
Overall, a positive experience and I'll go back. I'm a fan of white pizza and this was a great version. But be aware that they call it a 4 cheese pizza...
