Eros Cafe & Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Fairview Township

This was our first time here, and our experience was ok. When we pulled up, it's just an all black building that reminded me of a Halloween Escape Room. It could really use some painted murals. When we walked in, the couch with the lighted sign looked very nice. However, the rest of the restaurant was just black walls with wires hanging out. They definitely should have finished the decor before opening because it looks undone. We stood there for over 5 minutes before being told to "find a clean table." We found 1 and were surprised at how many tables were left dirty. There were only 2 tables with customers at them, but it still took another 20 minutes before we could put our order in. We did get our food pretty quickly, and it was plated very nicely. We were then able to order drinks and eventually got the salt and pepper we requested. The food was good, but the service and atmosphere need some work. We'll likely try it again once they've been open longer. This area needs good restaurants, so I hope it improves...

Our first time there, celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter said it was his first night, so giving him some Grace. I had some trouble with the menu: at least two entrees did not have prices. There were a few entrees that needed explanation, and the waiter was not able to provide. Also, the sides were not explained or described. I had to Google the names to learn of the plantain-based dishes. I had a steak burrito, spouse had shrimp tacos. The chips and salsa were very good. I felt that the dishes were overpriced. They were okay for a date night or special occasion, but too expensive for a middle of the week dinner out. I am looking forward to trying breakfast there at some point. I also may give the burger or wing night a try, because I want to like the place, but it's got...

We saw this place for quite some time and finally decided to go for dinner last night. Well, I'm glad we did!!! I had the mixed fajitas, and hubby had the steak! Let me tell you, it was so delicious, and flavors were spot on😋 can't wait to go back, I want to try their tacos. They also have a breakfast menu too. The restaurant is fairly new to the area. We were seated as soon as we came in... our waiter was very attentive. Can't forget the killer mojitos ( I had the passionfruit...hubby had regular mint...YUMM-O! 😋🍹). All in all, it was a very good experience for 1st time and we will be back to explore...
