Inconsistent. When it's good, it's good, but half the time, the pizza is dried out and not hot. Some of the food on the side from the Amish is old and should be in a fridge. It is expensive with $15 for a pizza that is barely edible 50% of the time. There are a few good places anymore. The homey atmosphere is nice, with trains and nice old tables. Always clean and friendly. I'm at the point though if the pizza is bad I call them and tell them. And I'm probably not going to even go there anymore. The hometown Farmers Market has their food truck there and that pizza is very good but it's $4 for one small piece of pizza. Although, when I was there I got an old slice the one day that was overcooked and I didn't like that much but it was still better than what's coming out of the restaurant, these days. Edit: I went back for a replacement pizza. They lost the note where they were supposed to have written down when I ordered that was not edible and that Amish thing that I bought that was bad. I told him I just want a large pizza with extra cheese and this is what I got. I did take the crust off and Munch on that but there's so much grease and there's almost no sauce. Inconsistency of this place is so much that I have to speak about it. I'm not going back there. They said that all Pizza goes in the oven for the same amount of time but maybe the problem is what they put on the pizza and how they put it on in the first place and then they stick it on top of that oven and it dries out I'm not sure. This is not what they sell at the...

We have constantly been trying to get this pizza but it was always closed when we would remember. I really wish they were open more :(

But for the pizza. It was amazing! I can't speak on any other food because I only wanted pizza. It was just pepperoni topping. But it was 24" which was INSANELY COOL to me. It was nicely priced. It tasted good the moment we got and it still tasted good as left overs.

I highly recommend giving them a try if...

First visit to Whistle Stop in Mountain Top. I am trying their chicken wing pizza today. It is definitely an interesting take on chicken wing pizza. It's topped with finely chopped breaded chicken. At first I was on the fence but after eating it more it started to grow on me. The finely chopped pieces do add a nice crunch to the pizza.

This was our second time having pizza and wings at the Whistle Stop and it won't be our last. The pizza is very tasty and has a thin ,crispy crust. The wings were super crispy and delicious.
