I had really bad experience in the course and definitely won't waste my time again. Just want to be clear, I am not any kind of hater that complain about everything. I know I only pay $52 so I do not have any expectation at all( and they do not Par 5 only Par 3/4) , I just want to play a quick game in the Sat Morning. Ok here comes the detail. When I call to book the tee time, I double check with they " can I play the regular green?" ( sometimes they will ask players only use a part of fairway as green) and they said " of course, our green will be great on Sat." However, when I get there on the Sat morning, they give me whole pocket of reasons why I CAN NOT use the regular green, and the funny thing is they said " don't worry, I will give you discount. so you good to go" I mean.....WTF.....??? excuse me''''' First! nobody cares about the $4.75 discount! Second, if they DO NOT understand what is honest with customer, make sure they learn that before doing any business! Especially GOLF! Third, they trick me in, so I do not have time to go other golf course, they were just wasting my time.
I told them my feeling after payment and that guy in the pro shop said, " If the sun comes out, you can use the regular green" But when I get to the NO. 14 (11:30 am), the sun was right top of my head, so I putting on the regular green. But here cames a guy called him " superintendent" tired to threaten me by saying " if you step on the green without flag, I will kick u out and you game is done" I really had no idea on how should I respond to his serious face, I just couldn't stop laughing at him. I mean.... what are u doing? we are not in high school.
This is my experience at Nile Shrine Golf course, I don't like judging people so you guys feel it by yourself. Do not blame me didnt give the heads up. I spent my time to...
Read moreThis is for NW Signature Events & Catering !!!!!
As an small business owner myself I would expect that all belonging would be securely returned to me as a vendor.
The venue is great, but NW Signature Events & Catering staff, lack of knowledge as well 0 hospitality knowledge of this industry is unbelievable.
We were doing a wedding for our clients and were given false information on multiple aspects of the venue. Simple things that employees are hired, should know details of their industry. Justin- get some training not only in hospitality industry, but most definitely people skills.
After all, we rented/brought our own supplies only to have their staff remove them and lose a few of them.
We were happy to return same night and clean, but were told we could come back the next day and do so.
Two weeks later, we are being told that Nile is not responsible for lost items.
I get it!!! But first, train your staff to know ins/outs what your venue consists of. Also, as any business or an owner when mistakes are made, own them!
Use these times to perhaps train your staff and acknowledge a mistake.
Mistakes are made certainly, but as professionals we have to own our mistakes same as we do our successes!
Would not recommend this venue to anyone!!!
I wish there was 0 stars to give, they don’t deserve this 1...
Read moreShort course, no par 5's unfortunately, as they give you a little relief if you hit a bad shot. Narrow fairways and you have to be pretty accurate off the tee. I always pull my first drive, which I did yet again, but my ball was just off the first green. Missed my 7ft birdie putt,
Fun course, being familiar with it and when to lay up instead of letting the big dog eat will keep your score down and inventory of balls up. We were done in a little over 3 hours and waited a minute or two a handful of times.
It's a lot closer to me than I thought; took about 20 minutes from the Target in Woodinville. Greens were excellent; not slow, but not putting on glass. For $40 with a cart sunset rate, and being allowed to play as many holes as we could (without jumping holes and getting in front of others) I got 24 holes in before 7:15pm.
If the course drains well, it's going to become my winter course (Willows Run becomes a marsh in the winter).
4.8/5
Carts are older and the brake is tricky, and it's not evident where the next tee box is; a few more signs would make navigating the course a little easier. Considering those are my only complaints, it's a really good...
