My wife who spent 15 years working for NASA mission control & many years at Lockheed Martin & Boeing, were exhausted from completing a move out of our apartment, so grueling i ended up with the flu. We forgot to set our alarm, and was woken up by banging on the door at 11am. She jumped up and ran to the office to try to renew the room. They told her after we got everything out they would get us another room, but not until 3pm. I was so sick i couldnt even move. So we got everything out, Jennifer booked a new 1 online, and about 2:45 I went to the office to ask if we can move to the new room. The manager claimed he had to chase us out and wasnt going to rent us a room. Mind you, this was our very first interaction, a few days before christmas too, and this man was just seething venom. I was just incredulous with disbelief, then behind him a woman comes up saying if we dont "get the F×ck off the property right now she was going to call the police." I was almost crying because we really didnt have anywhere to go immediately. My wife is crippled, and i have the flu and its raining and we are exhausted, and then she jumps on the phone and calls the police. I still havent said 1 bad thing to them. Then the manager tells me if we "werent the kind of people we are then this wouldnt have happened to us." I was like, what does that even mean?? We were paying customers. We had valid drivers licenses, didnt smoke. We overslept. The police came and escorted us into the middle of the street. We had to book an Uber to take us to a Days Inn. Some of our food was spoiled. Now theyre trying to charge us for a room key. These people are up to something, and if I was a lawyer the litigation I would bring on this place and these 2 individuals would be so swift their heads would spin. Oh but wait I am. I cannot believe these people think that they can just treat strangers like this. This was the worst treatment I have ever recieved from anyone ever. EVER!! The damages from the lost food, the pain and suffering, lost time... and i cannot get over it, what did he mean when he said, " if we werent the kind of people we are"??? I want studio 6 to clarify for me and my wife what kind of people they throw in the street 4 days before christmas. Again the worst treatment. These people will spit on you, call the cops and laugh.

Staying here because of fiance took a job in the area and we're looking for a permanent residents were staying here in the meantime I don't and can't in good faith recommend this place although they do make the best attempt the rooms were clean when we arrived the staff for cleaning the rooms is amazing and very accommodating the area is self is a little bit off the path and it is not really accessible for anyting convenient if it weren't for my fiance's work being nearby the pricing is not in line with what you received be better off going through one of the third-party websites and finding barely any hot water ever not serve us too much nefariousness haven't seen anything really questionable but still anytime I hear a noise outside and check on my truck feels a little bit low and I would say if you have to be in the area and you want something relatively budget-conscious that has basically no frills and is barely what they call it which is a studio then yeah maybe this fits the bill but I'm going to attach them pictures it's not all that and it is what it is if you're desperate need a spot I guess it works if you book through a third-party you need to be aware that there's a $50 deposit on top of it. They put on your credit card for incidentals which makes no sense because there is anything that you can possibly damage in these rooms that would be worth 50 bucks but I digress the nice part is is that you can park right in front of where you are staying so you at least have the security if you do have materials in your car or vehicle. The prices are all over the place we had to extend a few times and even when you're using a third-party apps they go for $165 which I would absolutely never pay for this unit all the way down to like $50 a night which is crazy but it's based on need I apparently so. Anyway it's not the worst and it's not the best certainly falls dead square in the middle of the two again the cleaning staff is more than capable and willing to help out wherever they can and the front desk has been pleasant but the facility itself is lacking and it certainly isn't what you would call a higher-end experience which you wouldn't expect from a motel 6 property but for the price they charge you expect a little bit better.

WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE When traveling in the past we have often stayed at Motel 6’s as they are affordable and usually cover the basic needs. We booked this with low expectations as you should when booking with the “6” brand and it was faaaar below our already low expectations. All the cabinets and furniture were chipped and dirty with mysterious drip marks on the walls next to the fridge and around the kitchen. The flooring was done with what looked like scrap of whatever they had laying around. And the sink in the bathroom if turned on high shoots water across the bathroom and will soak you if you’re standing at the sink (see included picture). After going to the bathroom I realized there wasn’t any soap, shampoo, or anything and so I called the front desk and they informed me that they were completely out of soap with a pretty terrible attitude too ( her name was Morgan). How does a business that size run out of a basic amenity like that? It’s absurd that they could justify taking our money and not provide the very basics that literally every other place offers. They have a cook top with no cookware, a coffee pot with no cups, and ask you to fill out a comment card and do not provide even a pen. This place is PATHETIC and I recommend booking literally anywhere else but here. P.S to Studio 6, don’t even bother wasting your time with that “we are dedicated to improving and hope you come back again bs”. Work on hiring people that actually care about doing a good job and maybe a maintenance worker that doesn’t just stand around bothering the maids and milking the clock.

Review of Manager Travis at Studio 6

I stay at the studio 6 quite often to be close to my mom and am always thoroughly impressed by the dedication and hard work exhibited by the manager, Travis. In a location that is often associated with the challenges of being near Aurora Avenue, Travis stands out as a beacon of professionalism and resilience.

Travis faces a unique set of challenges in managing this property. The proximity to Aurora Avenue means that the clientele can sometimes bring a level of unpredictability, Yet, through it all, Travis remains steadfast in his commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. His ability to navigate these complexities with calm and poise is commendable and speaks volumes about his character and work ethic.

During my stay, I witnessed Travis handle a particularly difficult situation with a guest who was clearly not adhering to the rules of the establishment. This woman was breaking the guidelines that are in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons. Travis approached her with professionalism, issuing a warning while remaining composed and respectful. Unfortunately, the guest did not take this feedback to heart and continued her disruptive behavior, leading to the decision that she needed to leave the premises.

It's disheartening to see that this individual has resorted to leaving one-star reviews out of spite rather than reflecting on her own actions. This kind of retaliatory behavior is not only immature but also highlights a lack of accountability. Travis, on the other hand, embodies maturity and responsibility. He understands that rules are in place for the well-being of everyone at the studio, and he’s committed to enforcing them even when faced with backlash.

Travis’s ability to remain strong in the face of such drama exemplifies his dedication to his role. He tirelessly works to ensure that Studio 6 is a safe haven for guests who respect the property and its rules. His fair and consistent management style fosters a sense of community among tenants who appreciate the stability he brings to the environment.

I also want to mention Morgan and her dedicated hard work!!! I believe she goes above and beyond and should be recognized by studio 6 owners and definitely deserves a raise!!! She can come off a little rough around the edges, but as long as you don’t her disrespect her she is an amazing employee! It's truly sad to see how some individuals are targeting Travis and Morgan, claiming they are rude and lacking in customer service skills and it especially discuss me when somebody targets the way somebody looks !!! The truth is, it’s often the customers who are being disrespectful. I have been staying here mostly 2 to 3 weeks out of a month for the last 6 months and I’ve never seen them be rude or disrespectful mostly, it is the customer who doesn’t get their way who wants to be disrespectful ! Travis and Morgan simply refuse to tolerate rude behavior, and when their responses don’t meet the expectations of these customers, they suddenly become the bad guys in their reviews. I've been staying here a week now and I have two cats. the rooms are required to be cleaned once a week. I expected that they would knock on my door and that I'd be able to tell them I need a few more minutes to put my cats in there carriers not a fun or quick task, they said no now and almost came in, I daid ok but door needs to stay shut, then she said cats need to be in. carriers, I just said I need to put them in, she said ok and to do that. so I barely was successful and sat there, and the cats were on the carriers for 45 min and they never came back. I called front desk asking hiw long i need to leave cats in carriers and they said they reported unable to enter room cause animals were loose. im like am I supposed to leave them in their carriers all day with no knowledge of a time frame and she laughed knowing herself what cats are like and told me i could schedule the clean for tomorrow. I had an appt in the morning and wouldn't be back till 1 so I said 1 she said ok.i just happened to get home by 11 and not five minutes later I got a call sayi g they needed entry now, what if i wasn't there I thought. this time I almost couldn't get the cats in there carriers but I managed, hoping I didn't hurt my cat, and when I got back after the room was cleaned one of the cats was out, I can't ask what happened cause they don't speak English and I want to know what happened to my appt time. I also know the need for servicing the rooms once a week to make sure the room isn't getting trashed, but I'm honestly not sure I'm going to be successful at getting one of my cats in the carrier next week not after this especially after being in the carrier for nothing yesterday and so I'm really concerned about this I feel like I'm keeping the room clean I don't mind cleaning my room I wish that they could just do like an inspection or something or do an optional inspection if you don't want it cleaned because this is really stressing me out. im worried they will let my cats out I don't understand how she got out of the carrier and they could easily just come in and look at everything and make sure it's all up to par instead of making me have a room cleaning service I don't mind letting him in the room anytime to check and make sure the room is still in good condition but I don't see why they have to clean it I am perfectly capable of cleaning the room I have my cleaning supplies I have my little vacuum I have all my stuff so I just wish that that was an option cuz I am stressing out and this is really bothering me other than that though I am enjoying my stay here the rooms are nice they have the fridges stoves dishes for you to use it's like a studio apartment and so I am enjoying my stay here other than that part of it. but thats a big...
