Normally I would have given them a 5. I had never had a bad experience here until recently. Went for dinner with my family and friends, majority of us ordered steak. They advertise fishers meats and that sold us on getting steak. When the meal came three of our steaks were over cooked. My friend and I both ordered Ribeyes and the size of them was disappointing. Very thin and for a steak that is advertised at market price instead of a set price one would assume you would get a quality cut. When we informed the waitress she went to let the manager know. Upon returning she offered to discount the steaks. Not remake, just discount and apparently wanted us to continue eating our overcooked steak. The kicker here is that a 8 year old at our table had ordered a sirloin prior to our food arriving that looked like what I expected, larger, cooked nicely, and a good cut of meat. We ended up asking that they send the steaks back and cook us a sirloin. We receive the three steaks and my wife's is now undercooked. Instead of complaining more my wife decided to box it up and cook it more at home. Mine and my friends steak though cooked much better were bland. Not sure if the cook understands meat needs to be seasoned. Again, normally I would not have anything to complain about with Mulligans but this visit was a disaster. I will not be ordering steak anymore. Moral here: stick to...
Read moreOnline said the place closed at 10pm. We aren't from the area and it was the last place to grab food on our way home. It was 8:39. When we walked in we got a strange look and being in the food service industry I knew it was the look of wow, really last minute people. So I checked again. It says closes at 10 pm so my family stays and as we sit and wait for our food I keep thinking this seems like they're closing. Everyone is cleaning, sweeping, doing fills on the tables, the kitchen seemed closed too. Our server left before she collected our credit card slip and then I was absolutely convinced we was a huge inconvenience. She was sweet and never once said anything rude! When she left I opened the actual website and low and behold they close at 9pm! 🤦 So we was those customers 😐 not something my family would ever do! Again working in food for over 20 years I know how that goes and I just don't do that! I wish I could have apologized to the server, I'm sure she was ready to go home and then boom another table! They definitely need to update the time they close on Google! We would have never went 20 minutes before close! The food was ok but I won't nag much considering I am betting the kitchen was almost closed down when...
Read moreMy grandson took me to a late lunch for my birthday. He had the patty melt and said it was good. I had been kinda craving a tenderloin so that's why we went there. It had a good taste but I thought it had been beaten down a little too thin. I worked there quite a few years ago and at that time I trained with a lady from Albany named Sue who had been there for quite awhile I believe and her tenderloins were legendary and she trained me how to make them. We never used a mallot or such to thin them out - we used our hands to bread them after being dipped in a breathing wash and then we kneaded and pushed on them with our hands to form them and at that time they weren't overly thick but they had good substance. And they stayed that way for quite awhile. But it seems they might be making them thinner these days. We kept hearing a beating sound from the kitchen like a mallot beating meat so I don't know if the cook was making fresh tenderloins or if it was something else. My cole slaw was good the fries were excellent and the tenderloin while tasty just didn't have enough thickness for me and by being so thin it was kinda tough and a bit hard for me...
