We've been to other places where the steak portions feel skimpy for the price, but not here. This restaurant understands how to deliver a hearty and delicious meal without breaking the bank. For those busy weeknights, they also offer fantastic takeout service. We were amazed at how quickly our order was ready. They average 15 minutes, and even when they were moderately busy, our food was hot and packed up perfectly within that timeframe. I can see how during their prime rush, that might understandably extend to around 25 minutes, but even that's impressively fast for the quality of food you're getting. It's a game-changer for those evenings when cooking just isn't in the cards. Honestly, Taco Burrito Express has become our go-to for delicious, flavor-filled food, exceptional customer service, and a truly welcoming, kid-friendly environment. Yup… I can’t believe I didn’t review this place before. Almost 3 years coming back. A year and a half ago this was like 5 min drive from where I lived. Nowadays I drive 20 min to get my tacos. And I do it happily. First time I came here was by coincidence. A small tinny place, humble with no bells and whistles, but a kitchen where they know what they are doing. First visit I just ordered something generic and quick since we were in a rush. But I remember seeing the Pozole in the menu. If you are in a Mexican restaurant and they don’t have Pozole in their menu during fall/winter season then you’re not in a real Mexican place. This was a lunch outing with coworkers who had been here before. I under their recommendations order the king burrito dinner with bacon. The meal was excellent. It came out hot but not enough to burn my finger. It also didn't wilt the lettuce which is something that kills meals for me. The portion size was as stated. A size fit for a king.
