Gyro & Philly Steak 3 — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

Decided to try the new Gyro & Philly Steak 3 as it took over from another greek restaurant recently. I am glad I stopped in! They greeted me warmly and took my order, a couple of gyro sandwich combos to go. Loved the way they built the sandwich. First, they layered the pita with the veggies/sauce/cheese. Then, they piled it up high with the gyro meat. Finally, they stacked more of the veggies/sauce/cheese on top - massive amount! The fries were fresh and seasoned right there. This place used to be called Boro grill. Now it's something completely different, and I'm just being honest. The food isn't great at all, and the gyro shouldn't be overcooked and basically inedible. I've seen customers come thru the door and attempt to get their attention, and this old man is very unfriendly, and that's a definite turn-off. I won't ever order or recommend this location to anyone I know. They have dropped the ball when it comes to customer service and quality. We came for this grand opening of this location, and they did not disappoint!!! My family and I are always looking for something new to try and this place was great! The staff were wonderful and checked in on us to make sure things were good. They handled the crowd with such ease! My kids loved their burger and chicken tenders and my husband loved their Philly. I got their mix chicken and gyro plate with a great portion size and was tender meet and great seasoning. I'd come here over and over...
