Waffle House — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

Don't go to this Waffle House. I am a loyal customer usually eatting at a waffle house 3-4 times a month. But this one the service was lousy. The waitress didn't get to us for over 15min. The place was not busy at all. 2 other waitresses were too busy flirting with some other male employees who were just getting off work. Most of the food was ok but the waffle was hard as a brick, way over cooked and was not half as big as it normally is. Then the waitress would not fill my partners glass. She refilled my tea several times. I could have understood this if they were slamming but there was only 2 other tables occupied with 3 waitress on staff this was totally unacceptable. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This was just terrible. I don't expect a 5star dining experience but I would like to get refills on drinks when needed and the waffles...

Probably the worst experience at a Waffle House. JJ our waitress was doing the best she could. The cook however made comments consistently that this was his secondary job and he didn't care. She told him bacon was burnt and he said it wasn't. We clearly could see that it was but she served it anyway to not have an argument. The waffles were burnt, all meats except a chicken sandwich was burnt. Another couple told them a bush was on fire right next to the building and he blew it off until the customer was outside trying to put it out. Again I believe the waitress JJ is a great asset but the cook this evening was unprofessional, unmotivated, and a terrible example of a Waffle House employee. My wife and I decided to go to our local Waffle House on Lascassas after a Maundy Thursday Service and Vigil. The experience this evening was appalling. No greeting upon arrival, no server to ask us if we wanted something to drink, etc.. I actually turned my timer on to see how long it would take anyone to acknowledge us. After 15 minutes of watching and waiting and staff members walking past us, we finally asked if we were going to be served. The answer from one staff member, "Well,, I just got here."

What the what!! As a former chef for 10 years, I could not believe what I just heard. We left and went to the Waffle House on South Rutherford for a WAAAAAY...
