Insomnia Cookies — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I honestly have not eaten my cookies yet but they rarely ever disappoint. This review is about customer service. As I was walking in, an employee was walking out. The store was rather quiet, no customers in sight. As I walked in, I saw a male worker, facing my direction, in the back talking to another male worker sitting down on his phone, who was not facing me. I went over to the register to pick up my order and waited a few seconds and no one greeted me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming they didnt notice me, because I walked in as someone else was walking out so I walked closer to the pick up online order sign to put myself in clear view of the employee facing the front of the store. I stood there for a little while and still nothing. The employee facing me said nothing to me but continued his conversation with the one sitting down. Then, another customer came in. Still, no one came to the front to greet or assist us. I eventually decided to say excuse me, is there anyone here to help. The employee sitting in the chair with his back toward me turned around and said yes and then motioned for another employee, out of sight, in the back to assist. At this time, I was helped. The young lady was nice and apologized for the wait. I informed her, the employee saw me standing there but she didnt know how to respond to that, which I dont blame her for. The other day when I came in the employee was extremely rude. I think he was a manager which is even worse. First when I walked in he said he’ll be with me in one second then proceed to finish his conversation with his coworker and make me wait. They seemed to be pretty dead and it didn’t seem necessary to have a customer waiting just to finish your conversation. Regardless I let that go and he eventually took my order. While taking my order he was very passive aggressive and rude. He acted as though I was inconveniencing him by being there. I didn’t order anything crazy and this wasn’t right before close or anything like that so I’m not sure what warranted that. I usually have pretty good experiences here but he was just flat out rude. I love insomnia cookies and I was excited to have them semi close to Nashville. We arrived at 10 pm on a Saturday, which they close at 1 am. They informed me that they had already closed the oven down for the night? What? 3 hours before closing? Anyways, we purchased from what they had available. I eat gluten free due to allergy and insomnia cookies have the best one available, however, this locations gluten free cookies were so hard and cold I could have thrown them and broke a window.

We will not be drive 2 hours (there and back) again. Very unfortunate because I love insomnia more than crumble but not...
