Burger Boy — Restaurant in Murphy

Staying at the local Resort and Casino and seen the reviews for this place and we made sure to visit. For review purposes we had 6 people in our Group and Ordered on the same ticket. Probably not a good idea, as you could tell who's was prepared first as that was the coldest burger and very cold fries with gradually increased warmer basket's as it's went around our table. So you know they held some plates/basket's untill everyone's was done. Probably would have been better for each of us to pay and get a separate ticket. As your order is done they bring it out to the dinning area and announced your ticket number. Insuring a fresh hot burger and hot side item. The prices are reasonable but only if you get it hot. Great selection of food items, they could use a little more help as we had to clean our own table before sitting down. Other than some of the orders being on the cooler side, seasoning and taste of the sides and beef itself was very good. Just one of the 6 orders was missing the Bacon and it was corrected quickly. Next time we are in the area I'm sure we will give them another try as the average of reviews...

Giving them two stars for the guy who works at the counter. He was very kind. That being said, I almost threw up in my car just thinking about the place while eating my food. I went to use the restroom while waiting on my food, and it was extremely dirty and automatically gave me roach infestation vibes, so I scanned the place, and sure enough, there were German roaches in the light fixtures. Reading the negative reviews after leaving confirmed the roach infestation. After that, I had an incredibly difficult time eating my food. Flavor was okay, but between thinking about the roaches and the very small, extremely greasy burger Patty they put on my grilled cheese melt, I found myself gagging. Literally was a centimeter away from throwing up in my car. I could not finish even half of my food, I was too grossed out. Will not be going back. Very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews. :(( Editing to add: I now have food...

Okay so I've owned the house here in Murphy North Carolina for 23 years. I've been here quite a few times before the Democrats got control of the White House but after that the prices were so ridiculous.. I never bought a thing since.. but I went in today with the mindset I need to buy something and let's see what this produces??? and it was phenomenal for $14.60!!!

I got a burger fries and a drink. Even if you go to McDonald's nowadays it cost you at least $10 for a meal. This establishment is well worth the money and for the $4.60 it will cost you more the fries were great the people were great I love it. I love it I'm going back thank you to all your team members and everybody involved you did a great job!
