GOFOR Pizza — Restaurant in Murray

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited this college town pizza spot on a Friday night during the college’s fall break. While they had a steady flow of to-go orders, we were one of only two dine-in tables, which made for a nice, relaxed experience.

The chalkboard special — Hot Honey Pepperoni with Ricotta Cheese — immediately caught our attention, so we ordered a 14” along with a 10” Reese’s Pieces Dessert Pizza. Both were phenomenal! The crust was perfectly crisp and beautifully golden, and the flavors on the hot honey pepperoni were spot-on — sweet, spicy, creamy, and savory all at once. Easily some of the best pizza we’ve had, and we’ve tried a lot of pizza places!

The dessert pizza came out at just the right time — warm, gooey, and packed with peanut buttery flavor. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.

The dining room was clean and cozy, with plenty of space between tables, and the bathrooms were spotless. There’s also a really inviting outdoor area with Edison bulbs that creates such a great atmosphere for an evening out.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The only small downside is that drinks are bottled only, so no refills — but honestly, that’s such a minor thing compared to how incredible the food was.

The website doesn’t have a menu yet. So a search of different information sites can give one. After being told that I was being put on hold the phone was laid down and I could hear the person taking four orders of people in the restaurant. I heard a woman’s voice say” is someone on hold? I hope not!” For the last 10 minutes I had been hollowing to get the attention because I could tell I had been forgotten. When the person says are you still there? I tried to order a pan pizza. Then I’m told that they are not making pan pizzas tonight. My purpose of ordering a pizza is to see if they can compare to the other pizza restaurants in town. So I ordered a deluxe. No offering of thin crust. I’m told 30 minutes. After 45 minutes my pizza came out and was handed to me. A mile down the road and I tasted for the first time a pizza from this establishment. First impression was a pizza that is light on ingredients. The crust is a better than normal crust with a fair amount of red sauce and cheese. But the meats and veggies lack for a pizza of this price. Great great pizza! Crust is amazing, sauce is delicious and I can tell it's homemade and they aren't skimpy on toppings! Service was friendly and our order was fully correct. The ONLY (little) thing I would have liked different is for the bell peppers/onions to be steamed or sauteed before going on the pizza to bake. That would make these veggies softer and more done (to my liking). But this definitely won't stop me from ordering again. This place is a great addition to Murray and their pizza is unlike any other here. Yes it's a bit more expensive but their pizza is much better quality with lots of fresh quality ingredients. So many pizza places skimp on toppings and Gofor doesn't!...
