Was in town passing through and thought I'd stop for a bite to eat. This was buffet style. I usually rate places with a 5☆ but all my food was cold off the buffet except my egg drop soup. And what choices were available were almost completely gone or stuck to the bottom of the pan, and you couldn't get it out. Also, they were expecting a group of 40 to be arriving, and as I noticed when going to the restroom, they had restocked everything as it should have been at all times. I can't recommend this place and took no pictures to post either.
Maybe their local people enjoy cold and very few choices. But I prefer hot food and as many choices as there are hot plate...
Read moreNo……I have lost faith in finding a decent buffet. Pros: wide verity. Clean bathrooms and dining areas. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Cons: bland and basic, if you dare call it edible. There wasn’t anything that I tried that stood out. Without a question the worst lo mein I’ve ever had! Hy-vee makes a much better Lo mein and honestly, I consider Chinese food from hy-vee to be absolutely disrespectful to the culture. So personally, that just makes me feel like this establishment assumes we are too stupid to know exactly what it is we are consuming and they just slap together some mess with the nerve to call it food.
