Very slow service. Waited 15 minutes for a $5 box meal. The girl at the counter was literally moving so slowly that I wasn't sure if she was going forward or just standing there. I heard them say my to go number and it took her another 8 to 9 minutes to hand it out to me. Cindy came out from the back line and asked how l was. I told her I was aggravated. She asked why and I told her. She said all the orders were out and wondered what I ordered l told her the chicken strip box. She said that it had been up for a while. Then she told the girl to give it to me. I had to ask her to put it in a bag. My daughter had to scarf down a totally cold lunch so she could get back to work. Another gentleman had been waiting 20 minutes for his order and after waiting 5 or so minutes another gentleman decided to leave and said he was going to go get a pizza he said it would be faster. The service I received when I ordered was great. The food was good too. No problem there. Most of the time when I order Dale is the employee there that takes my order and hands it to me. Super friendly dude. No issue at all with him ever.
This time though, I forgot my wallet at home and my digital wallet wasn't working either. My fault. No worries. I went home and grabbed my wallet and came back and paid for my food. A different employee rang up order as individual items and tried charging me over a dollar more than what I was previously being charged. I called him out about the price and frustratingly fixed it. Curiously, I then asked him how often he rings things up individually and not as a combo, and then he rudely threw his hands up turned around and walked away before I was even done asking my question. Read moreFirstly, when we pulled up to the speaker, right off the bat the order taker was rude, then, we asked about the 2 for $5 they have right now, we asked for two sausage and two bacon, to which we were told “Bacon ain’t one of them” in the rudest tone ever. Alright, cool, we didn’t know, let’s get sausage, egg, and CHEESE (emphasis on the cheese). We get our total, pull forward to the window, get told to pull forward because our food wasn’t done yet. We pull forward, get our food, check it, no cheese. We told the person who brought our food, who was still outside, that our order was wrong, she then tells us cheese is an extra cost. Understandably we are frustrated, so we just put our food back in the bag and drove off. We did say out the window how they were just rude. Because they are. This particular Hardee’s just SUCKS.
