Wonderful meat and three! I had the chicken pot pie and it was SO creamy and there was chicken in every bite. Fried squash has a cornmeal batter, but not dry or gritty. Fried potatoes come with caramelized onions. YUM! Hubby got the chicken fried steak and it was delish!

Andy Griffith was playing on the corner TV and the decor is definitely 80s kitch, but everything was very clean. Just a good Southern restaurant with Mamaw's homestyle cooking! UPDATE! I live a ways away, so it's been a couple years since I visited, but I had lunch again today, 9/15/2025, and I was NOT disappointed!!

Today on their meat and 3 I got the chicken and dumplings, FRESH hand battered fried okra, creamed potatoes and gravy (SO CREAMY!), sweet corn and a roll. PHEW!! I am FULL!! I would show you the before and after photos of my plate, but Google won't give me the option to upload them for some reason. But trust me, my plate and bowl are CLEAN!!...

We’ve been twice. First time food was overcooked and service was slow. Decided to give them one more chance so went back at lunchtime on Thursday. Waited to be seated because with the Covid we thought they would have certain tables available and not available. No one acknowledged us. A group walked in after us and sat down at a table full of dirty plates etc. Someone did come and remove the dirty plates and cleaned the table. We still had not been approached by anyone there to see if we needed to be seated, had placed a call in order, or if we could be helped. We finally turned around and walked out and will never go back. Would not recommend this...

We were there for a get-to-gether and there was a bug crawling across the top of the table where we were sitting. Not an outside bug either. The food was hit or miss. Some had good food and others weren't too pleased. It was obvious by looking at the plates who had a better meal and it wasn't determined by price. The fajitas looked great and was told they were delicious, but the meat and three options looked blah and was reportedly just okay. I got a chef salad with grilled shrimp added and it was freshly prepared and delicious. Service was harried since we had a large group, but was very friendly and was quick to bring...
