I went here for the first time today to meet my wife and twin 6 year old daughters for lunch. I was very impressed with the food and service!
To tell you a little about our experience, my girls are picky eaters and they both ate all of their fried rice! That says a lot! One of them even got a refill of water and said the water was so good. The food came out piping hot and was fresh and delicious. I got the sweet and sour chicken, which my wife tried and said was some of the best she ever had (it was very crispy!). She got the garlic chicken special, which I tried and found it to be very good also. We also had fried rice, plain lo mein, and spring rolls. All of them were very good. We weren't sure if we were going to like the fried rice at first because we are used to the yellow style fried rice from other places, but it was just as good, if not better. It has what you expect with the onion and egg, and it was great! Even the little things like the fortune cookies were good. My girls didn't like them last time they tried one at a Chinese place, but this time they asked for more! So overall food was spot on!
Oh, and one of the best things about this place is the price!!! All 4 of us were able to eat feeling stuffed for under $29 (before tipping)! That's about what we pay going to McDonald's using discount codes and coupons! I was so impressed with their pricing considering the economic situation everyone is struggling with. It really felt like pre-covid prices, and I think any restaurant or business that does that deserves a lot of praise and recognition. It's a big part of the reason I decided to leave a review!
The server was very friendly and sweet. She recommended items to us, and made sure we always had refills. I feel bad I missed her name because I would call her out if I could. She did a great job and took care of us!
The atmosphere wasn't perfect, but good enough for what it is, which is a quick Chinese restaurant. Didn't really bother me, nor did it stand out, but that was fine as everything else was great. It just seemed a little dark inside, and maybe a little greasy/grimy, but it wasn't that bad. You can hear them cooking the food just a few feet away, so this didn't really bother me.
Good job, Papa Wok, we will be excited to...

Compared to most I'm going to say "Oriental" food establishments in the area this one is very consistent I have been here a few times with coworkers.
Again if you have never had shrimp and lobster sauce which is not on their menu, they will make it for you this is a delightfully light and flavorful dinner not spicy; typically a Hunan style type of dish.
The other image is Szechuan chicken and it's a little spicy but if you prefer it very spicy you might want to ask for a side of chili sauce.
The service is nice and the attentiveness to your needs is decent. I say this because it's relatively consistent very consistent in fact for the few times I've been here.
Feel free to phone...
Read moreI've been here several times and the food is good. The service, however, is subpar. On one visit I went in to order take out and the guy at the register never said one word to me...not a hello, not the price of my food...nothing. Another time I dined in for lunch and they were slammed w only one new server(who did a great job considering). I ordered a combo hibachi shrimp and scallops w no rice add extra order of veggies. My plate looked like a kids meal. I had three small pieces of scallops and four shrimp with only one serving of veggies that was mostly onions. The owner/cook or whoever she was said that bc it was a combo meal you get less of each meat. I won't be going back. Will stick to Umi's or Ricebox where I will get a full...
