G&L Chili Dogs — Restaurant in Muskegon Charter Township

Today, my boyfriend and I were poorly served at this establishment. We ordered some food and were trying to enjoy the game on the TV when suddenly, it just turned off for no reason. We figured it was an electrical or WIFI related problem because the Pandora app was stopping randomly sometimes too. The TV turned off a couple of times while we were there and while we were eating, our server, Michelle asked us to stop turning the TV's off because someone was trying to watch the game. Paul and I were bombing the house and had to take a couple of electrical items with us because we were not sure how they would fare due to the poison. I took with me a cat laser and an LED circuit board that my brother made with his dad. Paul took a plug-in Playstation controller. After being accused of turning the TV's off, we waited an hour and 45 minutes for someone to come up to us and ask us if we needed a box. Granted, we did not have all day to wait, so Paul decided to go up to the counter and ask. He told our blonde waitress that the woman with the glasses, the brunette hair and the double chin was spreading a rumor and she didn't even bat an eye. She did not feel any remorse for accusing us. Afterwards, I paid at the counter and she did not even want to look at me as I laid the money on the table. She put the cash in the register and left before I could say anything further to her. This whole ordeal was completely unprofessional and I will not be going back to this restaurant (despite it being 2 blocks from my house) until I see that Michelle (our waitress) and the woman with the attitude no...

First time customer and very pleased. Excellent social distancing yet still super convenient. Started off with the restroom to wash our hands, extremely clean and organized. Our waitress met us at our table as soon as we sat, and even though she wore a mask we could see her smile as she spoke to us. After I explained we were first time customers, she introduced the trainee that was with her, Sammy. We got our drinks quick and our food arrived quick. We were checked in on just the right amount of times, we never had to ask for anything, our server (I missed her name focusing on the trainee) anticipated what we might need.

Food is okay, service is a little sloppy. Employment there I highly discourage. I wouldn’t have given this review if they knew how to do their job as management. But now, since they failed to correct my wife’s tax return before the final day, now it’s on my SSN as well. Theresa the manager failed to fill out tax forms correctly, put my wife’s cell phone number as her SSN and made statements about how my wife could fix it, and then how a manager higher than her has to fix it, but yet failed to do so.
