READ THIS REVIEW, then GO TO INLET PROVISIONS COMPANY and ....ALWAYS ASK FOR KRISTEN!!!!

Kristen is just like The Most Amazing Gift to The world of Customer Service Experiences!!!!

I’m going to just start by saying GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE AND SOME PRAISE Because She is Absolutely Hands down Incredible to Your Guests’! If You’re someone out there who really cares about Great Food, Fun Atmosphere, And Fair Prices, Off the Bat You should know You Need to go to Inlet Provisions!!!! ....If you Care about How your Service turns out, How your servers treat You, How Efficient they are, how attentive they are, How they Genuinely care about making Your experience the single best Experience they ever possibly can, Kristen Goes that extra mile, It’s Hard too, People Often expect their servers and restaurants to be perfect without realizing We’re not always perfect either, other tables Have plenty of needs and demands, and So does the employer, the Restaurant Industry Who is really struggling to find any extra Help in the south also means double duty for the servers and team, Kristen makes it all look effortless and really will give you the Best Customer service experience in Murrell’s inlet, much less Over any other Customer Service experience I’ve ever Seen In all of the Southern Hospitality I’ve come across, they just don’t Make em’ like Kristen, I think she’s a super valuable team member, and Her Value should really go up in Your minds as a guest with this review, She really is worth walking in that door and asking for Her every time, Even if you’ve never been there before, ask to sit in Her section (if She’s not there, Jenny is also Absolutely Fabulous) But this review really is all about Kristen and just how Fantastic she is, I think Both of these servers need promoted from within, Kristen could easily be general manager and Jenny Your Server Trainer, And I also Think they both deserve To be the best paid / rewarded ....Because you go anywhere else, You get and meet great people, beautifully kind People, people who are genuinely interested in your overall experience, But I’ve never seen a server in all my life as wonderful as Kristen, I Heard Her treat every one of Her tables like Family & Long Lost Friends, She Was so quick and responsive and Super Professional on top of Providing the Best Service Ever, She’s Not a Twenty-Percent Server, She really deserves one hundred Percent, Because that’s What She’ll give You, Kristen is An absolute treasure to the customer service industry and made the same exact phenomenal meal we loved there two days before that we couldn’t wait to Come back for one last time before returning home to Pennsylvania ....Seem even better Thank You Inlet provisions for having such a wonderful treat for your guests, I hope everyone reading this will Consider that experience Kristen Gives in customer service worth Coming over to Inlet Provisions over anywhere else and asking for Her!!!! Kristen Really sets A restaurant apart...

We stumbled upon this place completely by accident—and thank goodness we did! It was so good, we came back two nights in a row during our beach trip. Hands down 110/10.

The first night (Wednesday), we had Taylor as our server, and they were absolutely fantastic—super friendly, attentive without hovering, and just had great energy. The food, the vibe, everything felt like we hit the jackpot. So of course… we had to come back the next night (Thursday) for our final dinner of the trip.

That second night, Kristen (praying I have her name right) took care of us, and once again, it was stellar service. The whole place had this chill, relaxing atmosphere, with zero wait both nights (how?!), and the view over the marsh? Unreal. Peaceful, scenic, and just the perfect wind-down spot. Taylor even came out and said “hey” which made us feel a little special.

And now… the food. Let’s just say if I could hug a side dish, I would. The skillet honey butter cornbread was absolute chef’s kiss perfection—crispy edges, warm center, that melty butter magic. And don’t even get me started on the lobster mac… rich, creamy, generous on the lobster, and dangerously addictive. We were shameless about ordering the cornbread two nights in a row.

We even got to enjoy taking a few cute photos of the kids out back on the marsh walk!

It truly felt like we found a secret local favorite, and we’re honestly a little jealous of anyone who lives close enough to go all the time! This has easily knocked some of the big competitors down the street completely off our list and have now been replaced with Inlet...

We went on a Sunday at 12:00 pm , parking lot completely empty , when we went in the hostess told us we would have to wait an hour as they were short staffed . We were willing to wait but asked if we got a drink at the bar could we sit at a table and wait , and when the wait staff could get to us we would be patient and understood and she said no, so we left and figured we would try another day , so we went back Monday , same hostess who made us feel unwelcome and annoyed we even came back , we asked to sit out of the sun outside and she said “you HAVE TO sit here “ we called a manager over and now this is the 2nd time we are giving this place a try , well let’s just say he was more rude then she was and annoyed we even called him over … well we left and I’ll never go back ! I sat on this for a few weeks before making this review as I don’t normally post reviews at all , but felt this one shouldn’t be bypassed

To answer the question of management of are we sure we have the correct restaurant …. YES !!! If you read the the entire review you’d see we sat on this decision to send this review out and feel we made the right choice in doing so , bad management ! Rude hostess !! Your waitress was wonderful and was the only one who cared about this Buisness and...

“Good food bad advice” is their slogan, fresh fish and good eats will have you back again. One of the many local restaurants claiming a spot along the MarshWalk in Murrells Inlet. Rustic, fishing village vibe with an open concept with center bar in the main dining room. A secondary bar located on the expansive waterfront deck offers a panoramic, picturesque views of the creek. Dinner menu offers a plethora of fresh, locally sourced meats, seafood and produce whenever possible. From seasoned seafood to smash burgers, pan-seared snapper to blackened Mahi, soups, sides and salads, ribs, steaks and fish tacos are just a few of your soon to be favorites. Our Inlet Specialty was the grilled shrimp and flounder, served with a choice of potato & broccoli slaw. The two filets of flounder were nicely grilled, lightly seasoned with a flaky texture and the half dozen shrimp had a buttery taste with sides of cocktail and tarter sauce. Broccoli slaw was chunky, creamed broccoli with bits of onion and cheese and our side, Sideways Fries, was a Provision-style beer-battered potatoes that are a cross between chips and fries. Our server Jenna was our highlight of our night with friendly banter, quick and proficient service. Prices are reasonable, food is fresh and atmosphere welcoming.

A real pearl hidden among the clusters in Murrells Inlet. It's hard to stand out in the "Seafood Capital of SC," but the food sets this one apart. Plenty of options to just sample a few appetizers or small plates called "provisions" here. Or, step up to full dinner and steampot options. You gotta love an establishment that is willing to put boiled peanuts on the menu (of course it wouldn't hurt to serve them complimentary like some do hush puppies). It is the official snack food of SC after all. I digress, the seafood platter was fried but absolutely delicious. Crispy, but yet not greasy. Great portion sizes. The potato cake were GENIOUS. I was actually thinking about creating a menu item at home just like this. Crab cake was best of the beach, and I've been dining the Grad Strand for over 40 years. Blackend tuna with lump crab over crab cake was expertly thought out and prepared. Seriously, I haven't seen this much time and effort put into a meal at this price point in almost 20 years in this area. We walked right in while there was a one hour wait next door. Almost didn't write this review because I want to keep it to myself, but you deserve to know. Sorry about pic, I couldn't stop eating.
