It wasn’t the food. It wasn’t the beer. The food and the beer are actually quite good. It was the staff. They seemed annoyed we were there. We walked in with a group of five people, but we told them we had about a dozen more friends coming soon to join us. “Then you need to sit back there…” in a back section away from the bar and the side openings to the outdoor patio. We asked if we could sit at the tables closer to the openings and were told “It would be easier for us…” if we wouldn’t. We asked then if we could just order from the bar and keep separate tabs. We were told “ It would be easier for us…” if we ordered from the table with a staff member. We asked if we could still order from the bar if service got backed up with our large party, and once again “it would be easier for us…” if we didn’t. My very first concern when dining out is to make it easier for the staff at all costs…. This is somehow what they expect. I don’t know if it’s a lack of training, or if the owner is a complete terror, but the staff clearly has not been trained to operate a friendly place. We felt uncomfortable. We felt as if we were a hindrance to their way of doing things and they made sure we knew it. They had zero flexibility. Many of us agree we will not go back. But the...
Read moreAwesome atmosphere for all. Great home brewed beers on tap with lots of unique options and brews. We had the chicken wings and they were huge and perfectly done! Their extensive lunch/dinner menu has something for everyone. Located just south of the Marsh Walk it is a perfect destination if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet.
Kim was our bartender and she was amazing. So attentive, kind, and interacted with us when she had the time. She went above and beyond to recommend her favorites to eat and drink.
Kelsey in the Manager and she is the best. Kelsey was greeting all the customers coming and going and always made her way around to ensure all customers were happy and had everything they needed.
The space is cozy and inviting. With a large outside entertaining area, 4 large TVs, and live music this a restaurant/Bar you need to make a regular stop...
Read moreGreat place! Too sad - as Murrells Inlet permanent residents - we’ve discovered it only on this Halloween 🎃!!! I did the Flight and it was worth it: do try 5 points - it was an overall fave! Food wise: pizza was so good that we all decided that only two places serve better ones: one is in Italia (ha-ha;), another - at the Italian restaurant in Charleston that is owned by two Italian chefs from Napoli;))) 👌🏻 On the southern side of the border: BLT is to die for. Black eyed pea hummus - yes’s, m’am. Atmosphere is great; friendly and helpful stuff. Both times sat outdoors: just Wonderful. wish they stayed open a tad later but we are off season and sometimes you just can’t have it ALL;))) If you are looking for a laid back experience with the local coastal vibes, this place’s got...
