Occurred on 9/14. Seemed like a nice little Mom and Pop store. Pleasant young sales clerk. Their showroom was rather sparse, but I thought they must have some appliances in the back. After looking at several possibilities for our use, we found one that met our needs. Even added purchase of a microwave, though ours is still working with occasional quirks. We have been without a refrigerator for over two weeks due to lightening strike on our house. Were told our fridge was in the Mount Pleasant store, to be trucked in for delivery on Wednesday 9/20. The "scheduler" was to verify time of delivery. Wed came and no call had been received. Checked with store and was told the fridge would be in too late to deliver on Wed, so "scheduler" would call THAT DAY to verify if they would deliver on Thur or Fri. Note they said "IF" it would be delivered on "THUR or FRI". There should have been no question that it would come on Thursday, right? No call on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday came - no call from anyone. Sitting here a second day, waiting for the non-delivery of our fridge. I would love to cancel completely, but the store charges a 25% RESTOCKING FEE. Since this was never in stock, is there a restocking fee? Called again to see when they plan to deliver. She said the scheduler had called me yesterday to say they couldn't deliver till Friday. Not true, because their scheduler never called me. My husband asked where the fridge is physically located. Salesperson said "it is here in the store." So, where is microwave? Oh, they haven't ordered that yet. They took our money a week ago and still have not even ordered it??!! He said to cancel it. She said she was with a customer and would call back to get the credit card number to credit the money back to. As expected, still waiting for that call. Since they fail to provide any contact or semblance of customer service, can we trust them not to screw us and keep 25% of that?! I will update with further lack of follow up from this store, which is definitely NOT Swift after all. BUYER BEWARE!l 1/18 Follow up: since fridge was āin storeā and we were going out of the house anyway, we went to the store to look at it and to have the credit applied for the microwave we canceled (that they never ordered). When we arrived in store, were shocked to learn we were lied to. The fridge was not in store but had never left their other store at all. Salesclerk was so upset that that we were lied to that she personally took it upon herself to get our fridge delivered the next day. Found out that she actually had her boyfriend assist the delivery driver. All has gone well with the fridge since delivery. It seems the problems we encountered were caused by bad management, poor scheduling, and untruthful communication. We give 5 stars for the salesclerk and 1 star for...

I came in on Friday to speak to one of the staff. My experience on that day was okay but nothing stellar. I left feeling discouraged because I wasnāt able to align my needs around what was available. The next day I went to Best Buy. Sure they had a lot of fridges to look at but they all were boring and the sales help was not any help either.
I paused for a moment. I knew I wasnāt going to find any better at Home Depot. I decided to call Swift Appliances once more and just see if someone could help me solve this conundrum I was having with which brand to choose for our new house appliances.
Thatās when I had the pleasure of talking to Kevin. He helped me so much just over the phone. He was a pleasure to talk to because he was calm, knowledgeable, professional, and not pushy. He helped bring me back down to baseline and walked me through it.
The next Monday I returned to Swift, and Kevin was kind enough to go through all my options with me once more from high end to low end models so that I indeed felt comfortable with the choice I had made. Once I finally said yes! Letās do this, we went to his desk area where I also had the pleasure of meeting his associate (family member?) Amber. She was an absolute sweetheart. She made me feel comfortable and at ease even though Iām not always the best conversationalist.
Because itās such a large purchase, I needed to get prior approval from my bank. The amount took a couple of tries to go through because of imperfections on the part of the bank to have set things correctly the first time. I was treated with respect and professionalism throughout it all. I feel very grateful to have had this experience. You can do business with THIS wonderful store and deal with nice, professional people or you can drive to the local big box, stand in line and watch THE ONLY salesperson talk on the phone or work with the other customer. IF you can ever get any sales help you will then be told he or she does not work in appliances or if you get an appliance sales person you will then be told the store stocks zero appliances and you will need to order your product and schedule and pay for a delivery for a future date. Doing business with Swift is simply SO much better, Swift has in stock many, many appliances that you can take with you or have delivered or yes you can order you anything custom etc. I find the pricing is exactly the same as the big box or better, the customer service sure is better!
I called Swift and had questions about specs and size of a dishwasher. Amber sent me a email with dishwasher specs, size, price and reviews with-in a few seconds of my call. Try getting that kind of service at any other Appliance store! I have purchased a few appliances from Swift over the years and I have had the exact same, over the top experience! Yes Swift has many many choices in the higher end appliances that you may need for your custom kitchen but I also find Swift appliance is THE place to buy your builder grade or rental or entry level appliances and chances are it will be in stock at the same low price as those other guys...Swift will deliver your goods or I find these nice folks will help you place it on your work truck and have you on you way very swiftly, in no time and time is money!
