Oceanside Landing 55+ Community — Hotel in Myrtle Beach

When we were looking to buy Allison the site manager was so helpful in helping our realtor show us 3 different places. What was challenging is we traveled across country before looking here and had been away from home for a month. She made the places accessible and we found the home we wanted. Allison was helpful and thorough after our closing as well. She made us feel welcome from the beginning. Our neighbors were helpful as we moved in explaining what we needed and how to get around. Nobody ignores you and everybody is friendly. We have a beautiful pool and area to lounge in the sun. There are activities at the pool and we just christened our new clubhouse with a great Halloween party. There are luncheons for both the men and women, birthday dinners monthly, coffee and donuts weekly, a bookmobile and we are close to countless restaurants, great shopping and fantastic beaches. We are close to Brookgreen Garden and the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet. Great place to live with on-site management. Very safe and quiet. No issues with security or safety. Great neighbors and lots of activities to appeal to everyone throughout the year. Awesome pool to enjoy plus other amenities! You have several beaches within 5-15 minutes of you, depending on which beach you choose, plus all the great restaurants of the Marsh Walk! Put your kayak in at Oyster Recycling Center just 2 minutes away, or spend the day strolling the gardens of BrookGreen Gardens located less than 4 minutes away! The community is currently undergoing a major overhaul with upgrades to include: the drainage/ditches, new clubhouse with gym center, fire pit, dog park and more in the near future. Purchased a home here thinking we would just use it part of the year. Enjoyed the community and area so much that we decided to make a permanent move. The community has a brand new clubhouse with a library, workout room, full kitchen, and lounge area. Just outside is a beautiful new lounge area, grilling station, heated pool, pickle ball court, and dog park. The community is also in close proximity to all the best things Murrells Inlet has to offer such as the Marsh Walk, Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach, consignment shops and more.
