Hot Rod Diner — Restaurant in Myrtle Creek

Ordered 2 of their specialty double burgers with bacon one with just tomatoes and the other with the works. And an upcharge for the one with the works to have onion rings. Got the food home and that one was missing it's extra Patty and had fries ice cold . The other had the onion rings and they were ice coldas well, with the rest of it being lukewarm. After I had ordered I was told to come back in 45 minutes to an hour. I showed up 40 minutes later and it was already done... I only live 2 minutes away so it shouldn't have been that cold... We decided we didn't want to bother them over 1 dollar so we began to eat. I ended up throwing it away halfway through... No flavor whatsoever the onion rings and fries tasted like styrofoam. I would wager that dog food has more flavor and tastes better. I am severely disappointed, as I was really looking forward to eating here since everyone said it was amazing. Yes the portions were huge and the prices great for that size but quality was dismal. Iwould give another half star because at least the waitress was nice. If you don't want to do Togo orders when asked about them just say no. No one will be mad at that. But to do one and not pay attention to what is written because they are not actually dining in your establishment is not okay. They are still...

Great food, awful customer service is what earned them a 1. We waited approximately 50 minutes just for two burritos, and when we asked for sauce we were at first told okay. Upon waiting for the sauce, outside, the male who rang us up told us “they don’t want to waste a cup”. Mind you, sauce containers cost .5-.15 cents, and they said they did not want to waste a sauce container on a paying customer. I paid 26$ at this establishment for them to try to deny me a sauce container. They even went to the extent of saying we had to go inside, unwrap our burrito, and put the sauce in ourselves. Definitely will not be going back. Ridiculous wait time, and unnecessary rude customer service. After some time we did get the sauces, but after we were made to feel like a burden. Also, if indoor dining is allowed, why are customers forced to wait outside for their food and simple things...

I’m going to start by saying I have come in here a few times before deciding to leave this review, as everyone has an off day occasionally. That being said the food is awesome and reasonably priced, however the customer service is atrocious at best. Staff is not friendly and makes you feel like you are a burden to them by being there. Most recently we sat and waited for over 25 minutes before I had to go track down a server to take my order. They did apologize for forgetting, but also hovered around the table as if they were expecting something else in return from us. I had hoped that the customer service issues we have had in the past were a fluke, but overall they seem to just be the standard. I would not recommend this...
