Location matters, as someone that lived in the bay area for many years and has been to many great Chinese restaurants this place would get 3 maybe 3.5 star review in that area. With that being said there is a shortage of good Chinese restaurants in southern Oregon, and for this area it is 5/5. I have been to every Chinese restaurant between Canyonville and Sutherlin and this is by far my favorite. The people are very friendly and the food is the best Chinese food you will find within 50 miles. If your looking for good asain food as a whole I would put this second behind 7thai in Roseburg. If your a local you should 100 percent try this place. If your driving through on i5 also consider 7thai.

There fried chicken ( either mar far or sweet and sour) has moist chicken with a tasty crunchy batter. Do your self a favor and order the lo mein (soft noodles) over the chow mein...

Celiacs & gluten-sensitive folks…don’t get your hopes up. The only item they can make and exclude gluten ingredients is the garlic sauce. And the egg drop soup. After I’ve ordered many times and tried to get other things, the lady there always says they can’t do it. I asked them to get tamari or gluten-free soy to accommodate, but after six dinners they have not made any efforts to entice my wallet open again. So, if you want a white sauce on whatever ingredients and some steamed rice - this is okay. I’m sure others give this a better rating, if you can eat more items. They up-charge $2-$3 to add water chestnuts to mixed veggies. The lady taking orders is friendly and...

IT WAS HORRIBLE!! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!! After eating what I could of my meal, I immediately got a horrific stomach ache. The food tasted like it was several days old & had been re-heated. On top of that, it was burned! I had the combination platter #21 & the Mar Far Chicken was so rubbery that it was almost impossible to chew. The shrimp were hard as rocks & the rice was one solid chunk. We also got the Paper wrapped chicken appetizer... The chicken was burned & had a weird chemical taste to it. You could tell it, also, was several days old! Don't waste your...

Craziest thing I was concerned about coming in here because it wasn't very busy. That was a big mistake. I had lunch here the price was extremely reasonable and the food was great all fresh. I had the Kung Pao chicken medium to hot and it was good places extremely clean staff is friendly and helpful and food came out really fast but definitely come back here again.

Nice people. Easy to sit and eat at. I liked the orange chicken and fried shrimp. The soft noodles were good. The scallops were a bit rubbery & the shrimp was overcooked, but it had good vegetables. 2nd time Shrimp, Orange Chicken & Chicken Chow Yuk (without onions) were cooked perfectly to my liking.
