The salad bar was beautifully kept and fresh. The only things I had issues with at the salad bar were that the salad dressings and the tartar sauce need to be kept colder, and the pasta salad had no seasoning and pasta was not cooked all the way. The meat and vegetables bar had a great variety, but the food itself was VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING, especially for the price... cost 2 seniors with 2 teas was $32! The whole kernel corn tasted old and was on the verge of going sour, had to spit it into a napkin. Mac & Cheese had no flavor, and most everything was very, very bland and tasteless. The chicken spaghetti, if you could call it that, didn't have any chicken, was basically spaghetti noodles with Velveeta cheese and diced tomatoes. The beef tips had no color to speak of, and we're sitting in water/broth instead of gravy. The brown gravy was more of a homemade milk gravy but without much taste or the richness of true brown gravy. They also had a cream gravy, which I did not try. The cheese enchiladas were lacking in taste also. I believe the meatloaf probably tasted the best out of everything. The salad bar and the dessert bar were probably the best part of the experience. I asked who the owner was, and the hostess informed me that the man behind the hot bar was the owner. I don't know if he does the cooking, or if someone in the back does the cooking... but whoever is cooking needs to learn how to cook and season food properly. I doubt we will EVER go back unless they get someone that CAN cook! Honestly, if I could give this place less than 1 star, I would, simply on food taste, flavor, and the freshness of the hot bar!!
