The owner stopped me at the door and refused to allow my service dog through the door. She asked if we had papers and I said yes, but as we were trying to get her papers out she continued to block us at the door. My son said please stop disrespecting my mom because she started asking lots of questions, which she is not legally allowed to do. Federal law is.. you can ask if it's a service dog, you can ask what service it provides, and that's it. Demanding to see her papers is against the law. Also interfering with a service dogs ability to do their job, is a $10,000 fine. So her telling me what my dog could or couldn't do is also against the law.
