Roastd General Store — Restaurant in Nantucket

Excellent coffee worth the wait i think I got the vanilla espresso with collagen. Something like that, it was really good. We were enjoying. Said coffees at the tables in the front yard. When a lady pulled up in a yellow convertible beetle to which I commented, your car looks like summer- she smiled, but but then sullenly replied, the driver's side window won'roll down for some reason- which led me on a deep dive of window problems for volkswagen beetles- apparently it's a thing- I didn't get so far as to how to fix it. I'm sure I could though- if I run into that lady again, we're going to have words. Not like fighting or anything. But if that window's down, I want to know how she did it or if it's still up, let's fix this thing sister- i'm...

No choice but to give 5 stars because of the pro's.

Pro: Amazing decor, good seating, Friendly staff, and Stumptown coffee. Cool selection of beauty products (similar vibe to the Boston General Store in Coolidge Corner if you've been there). And it's one of the only proper coffee shops on Nantucket in the "I need to work on my laptop" sense.

Con: They could use a bike rack in the parking lot out back, and it can get pretty hot since there's no AC, just fans. And like a lot of Nantucket, the pricing is outrageous. $6 for cold brew and lattes?....but what can you say, make that...

I recently wrote a review expressing my disappointment. I am now offering a stellar revision. The Roasted Management immediately contacted me to invite me to try again, since it is their mission to provide the highest quality food, service, and atmosphere. I went to the new location by Nantucket Airport and was given a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast sandwich and coffee. I was impressed with the array of baked goods and uncommon products so welcomed to our island. I look forward to returning soon, and especially when the weather turns, so I can enjoy a meal...
