Usually I am not a person that leaves reviews, but I would love some answers on this.
The pizza itself is a decent run of the mill pizza. Obviously for the price, I would love a bit more out of it, but I understand that prices on Nantucket can be a bit inflated.
With that being said, I really just need some answers on the Family Size salad. Once we saw the price of $90 for a salad, we were already perplexed by seeing that, but were optimistic on what the salad would be like.
For $90, you get a small tin tray of approximately 1 large grocery store bag of romaine, about 1 slice of bread cut up into strips for garlic bread, 3 lemon slices, and a soup cup bowl that was 1/3 full with dressing. Yes, I get the “it’s just Nantucket” with some inflated pricing, but this is something you can recreate for yourself over at the grocery store for maximum $10-15. I know we can sit here and say that we just shouldn’t have ordered it, but we were hoping we would at least get something that would satisfy us, but instead were given one of the saddest salads for the price I have ever seen.
I would love some sort of reasoning for the pricing on this. For $90 on a caesar salad, I would hope this thing would have blown me out of the water, but I would hope every single person moving forward would PLEASE save...
Read morePizza was okay, but have a few complaints. First when we walked in we said hello to the bartender who just gave us a dirty look without saying anything. Then the hostess/waitress came up and she was nice but very quiet. We ordered a pizza, meatballs and garlic bread. The meatballs were tasty but for $16 3 tiny meatballs does not cut it especially when the meatball sub comes with 6 for $1 less. The garlic bread was priced at $7 on the menu but we were charged $8 and it was only partially seasoned with garlic and butter. The pizza was good but the crust was definitely passed the point of being well done and was actually burnt. Also adding pepperoni each slice had less than 1 actual pepperoni cut into strips. With how many amazing food options there are on the island there's really no point in giving them...
Read moreVisiting family and Nantucket and Pizza on the menu. I was a little surprised that ordering pizza for 6:30 had to be placed at noon…but when in Rome. The takeout area I guess is only for pickup with no other restaurant services available not even a cup of water. We arrived 15min early for pick up and asked for water on an extremely hot day. We were informed all they had was water cups and water for sale in cooler with a cup of ice. After buying and consuming a liter of water for $10 we still needed hydration. Asked again and rebuked by cashier at take out. Snagged a carafe of water from the bus tray because we were so thirsty. Just not my experience to spend almost $90 for 3 pizzas and being shot down for such a basic request. The pizza was good. Nice crust and sparse amounts...
