You all are going to want to read this. And sadly this isn't the first review like this.Today something happened to me that still can hardly believe.
My story goes, I am a long haul truck driver and after a really long day of driving and an unfortunate flat tire, I finally get to the truck stop where I look forward to a hot meal. My choice is taco bell. Right across from the truck stop. It's raining outside. Naturally, a big semi truck will not fit in the drive through, so knowing this, my usual is to use the app to order then pick up my food at the drive through window or have them bring it outside. So as I am working out my order the app decides not work, but not to worry every place I go to let's me order at the window anyway.
So I ask them if I can make an order and they say they cannot take the order of a "walk up" even if they use the app because it's their policy. They said I need a car to place an order. I explain that my semi won't fit through the drivethrough and their app wont work otherwise I'd come in. They insist and say they closed at 10pm in the lobby and without a car they will not take my order. Confused, because this has litterally NEVER been an issue before I ask again if they can make an exception because I do not have a car that will fit in their drivethrough, and again they insist that they will not help me.
Disappointed in this I'm about to walk away and a person in the drivethrough ahead of me notices me waking away and asks if I got to order. I explained the situation and he offered to make an order for me. Relieved that there are still nice people out there I accepted. Then, as this good samaritan starts to place another order they say to him, "we don't take orders at the window, you will have to drive all the way back around to make another order." (again, it's 11pm and there is literally no one here except us). Now both of us are really confused at what is going on, but because this person is awesome he decides to drive around to make the order. Then!... While this gentleman was driving around an employee leans out the window and tells me that I need to" wait on the other side of the building because it's store policy." Mind you, I'm standing in the grass, away from the driveway at least 30ft from the building. I asked if he was serious and he said he was. Now I'm thinking this is the craziest thing that has happened to me in customer service. I couldn't believe it.
Why would I have to wait on the other side of the building? Why couldn't I make my own order? Because I didn't have a car? What if a person didnt or couldn't afford a car came and came around on their bike? Why did that gentleman have to drive all the way around to make another order before he even got his first order? Haven't they ever realized in their own life that they wanted to order that milkshake or get those extra fries even after they had already ordered but the employee says, no problem and adds it to their order? Don't they know how their store gets its supplies? From a trucker. How could that whole store be so rude?? Why can't they hand food to someone without a car? What makes the car so much safer? Why couldn't they be understanding to my situation and try to find a way to help me instead of refusing service for no reason and make me stand out in the rain then treat me like the plague by telling move myself to the other side of the building for a silly reason?
So many shocking things happened that I'm just flabbergasted at how rude this taco bell is. It is my hope that this review reaches you all so that this establishment is one day held accountable for what happened to me today. All I wanted was to get some good food, get out of the rain and go to bed. I have tried my very best to bring you all the goods you need despite all the difficulties that we've all been facing and then to be treated like this was frustrating and disappointing. Pls, if you read this review and go back to this Taco Bell, please mention it and tell them how dissapointed you are in this as well, because no one should be...
Read moreThe staff was overall pleasant even on a busy Friday evening, however we sat through a 15 minute drive through line, got our food, double checked our order before leaving the drive through but pulled forward to help keep the line moving, found I was missing an item so I pulled around only to find the dining room locked. The staff ignored me at the door (which I somewhat understand as it was 10:30). I Didn't want to sit through another 15 minute drive through line only to inform the staff they missed an item on my order when the staff didn't even put a receipt in my bag and I couldn't guarantee they would give me my missing item anyways. Unfortunately everytime I've gone through this specific drive through I've always had at least one item missing from my order. I'll try to choose other fast food options before using this specific Taco Bell due to having my money taken from me and not receiving the products paid for. Please just take the 5 extra seconds to make sure you put...
Read moreWhy do i even have to give 1 star? Please consider it a 0. I am a semi truck driver which is why I couldn't go through the drive thru as the lobby just had closed. This employee working at the time 10ish on March 24,2022 asked me to walk through drive thru. I walk to the drive thru and employee greets me and asks me to order which i then started to order. Employee then proceeds to tell me " sorry I cannot take your order. i am a minor." I questioned if there was someone else working who wasn't a minor and could take my order. Employee then tells me there is no one else working with her. I came back but this sounds illegal if a minor was working at taco bell alone. The customer service was poor of poorest i have ever received. Even if you are not able to take order thru drive thru for people without vehicles you should straight up mention that rather than being rude to your customers and rather than lying that you are working ALONE AS A...
