If there was an option for no stars, I'd choose that. The only positive experience from this place was the guy who worked there named Alex. He was helpful and accommodating. That aside, I had called to get a cake for my niece's birthday, an ice cream cake. But not chocolate, because my niece hates chocolate and also just can't eat it. So I asked if there was vanilla ice cream in the cake, he said yes. I picked up the cake, brought it home, we sang happy birthday, and my niece proceeded to cut into it... There was chocolate ice cream and chocolate cake inside. She couldn't even eat it. Immediately, I called dairy queen and spoke to Alex, and told him what happened. He apologized profusely and said he was going to contact his manager and find out exactly which cake he could give me, as they were not properly labeled. I drove back to the store, got an Oreo blizzard cake, he told me that there were Oreo cookie pieces on top of the cake, along with chocolate drizzle. I said okay, fine, I'd just take that top part off. He said the inside had Oreo cookie pieces inside it with vanilla ice cream. He also said that he had been texting his manager to confirm this. I took the cake home. Let's try this again. My niece cut into it... Chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake. 🤦🏾♂️. When we called to talk to the manager the next day, (Robert Abraham) he was completely rude, uncaring, ignorant and unhelpful. It was clear that he only cared about money, told us we were just looking for free cake, and that he didn't care what we did-- that he had 7 customers in line waiting for him, that he needed to get back to. Told us to bring in the cake that we'd eaten, to prove it. Totally absurd. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them again. I had to go to Jewel to buy my niece a cheesecake, just so she could have cake to eat. This is hands down the WORST customer service experience that I can remember. I hope no one else has to endure such ignorance at this...
Read moreWonderful salesperson Alex. Super friendly and went out of his way to rite a wrong. The ice cream cakes were mislabeled and my Granddaughter cant eat chocolate. When she cut into the cake it was chocolate ice cream with chocolate crunch. 4 people had some. The birthday girl did not. Her mom went back to get a refund and was given another cake promised to not be chocolate. When she cut into it it was chocolate as well. This was not Alex’s fault. He was told by the baker that they were not chocolate. When I, the birthday girls grandmother called and spoke to the owner ROBERT ABRAHAM the next day he was rude, uncaring and eager to het back to his seven customers waiting as he told me himself. I was told to bring in the leftover cake and he would refund me based on how much cake we ate. I explained that my Granddaughter still has not had a piece of birthday cake and we have no problem bringing in the leftover cake but we weren't going to deny other family a piece of cake. I was told i was looking for free cake. I also told him I would give a review online and he told me “mam I don't care what you do, I have customers waiting”. Needless to say my family and friends will never give this store our business again. Robert Abraham can keep his money since he clearly thinks that the money is the important factor here. The 2 1/4 eaten ice-cream cakes will be eaten by family. I would have gladly brought them back for a full refund. Not a partial. My daughter went to Jewel and bought my Granddaughter a cheesecake. Happy Birthday baby. Mr. Abraham I hope your family is never treated how...
