I placed an online/drive thru pick up order for a Venti Strawberry Acai Lemonade Refresher with extra Strawberry based and NO ICE. Upon arrival, I waited in line for about 30 minutes. That was the first issue. I'm not sure what was going on, but it shouldn't have taken that long to make drinks. Secondly, my drink was not made until I made it to the window. The young lady handed me my drink, filled halfway with ice. This is why I ask for no ice because they always put an excessive amount and it waters the drinks down. I told her that it was supposed to be NO ICE. All they did was pour it into another cup without the ice because she came back way too fast. I didn't want to make a fuss, so I just took it and pulled off. Upon pulling off, I tasted my drink, and there wasn't an inclusion insight, and to make matters worse, they made it with water instead of lemonade. At this point, I'm steaming. These drinks are too expensive to not be made right. So I had to go in. I definitely did not have the best attitude because the entire experience was terrible. I spoke with the manager and showed him my receipt. He took a picture of it and had the young man who must've made it the first time, make it again, and what did he do? He makes the same mistakes. He asked me how I wanted it made as if he could not read what was on the receipt. I told him to read the receipt. The young man proceeded to put water and did not add inclusions AGAIN. So, I stopped him and asked what's the damn problem because now I feel that this is being done intentionally. You have the receipt yet you're going to give me what you want to give me? So he remakes it and puts the top on, I mention the inclusions AGAIN and he told me that he wasn't done making it. If I hadn't corrected him for the 1000th time, that young man would have given me my drink without all of the ingredients AGAIN. I'm not sure what's going on with Starbucks as a whole because every location that I have been to customer service sucks. They halfway make your drinks instead of telling you that they're out of stuff. There is never compensation for not having all of the ingredients. They just expect you to take what they made. My complaint for my review is that the drive-thru configuration is an absolute NIGHTMARE. It was not well thought out by any means. You have three different directions of traffic trying to merge into the drive-thru. It backs up the rest of the parking lot. It makes parking near the front entry way impossible. I have a 6 year old child and twin babies. Going through the drive-thru is the easiest way to get a quick coffee. I will not be returning to this location as it just creates more frustration than anything. This morning was my breaking point. I thought I'd treat myself to a starbies after a rough morning, and when I attempted to arrive at the drive-thru, it was like a flock of seagulls hoarding around a French fry. Absolute defeat. So, if you're having a bad day and are frustrated, avoid this place. Someone walking from the back room must have saw me on camera, came to take my order, and then went back to the backroom. I waited the end of the counter for my drink. The young lady making the drinks was clearly in over her head. She did not know how make certain drinks. She would ask and the other employee would simple answer "yea". There was no order to her making drinks. She chose the drink stickers based on what she knew. Her friend, not an employee, came to visit. The friend went behind the counter to greet her. They chatted behind the counter while, again, I waited for my drink. Almost 20mins I waited only to receive an incorrect coffee order with a horrible taste. This is the closest Starbucks to my job.
