Hands-down the absolute best place to get coffee in Naperville.
This is a small, woman-owned local coffee shop that I’ve been visiting since 2019. It’s impeccably clean and welcoming. The owner, Yogi, is there every single day and is honestly one of the best people you will ever meet. She will remember your “regular” drink and greet you with a warm smile every time. You can tell that the one thing that brings her true joy is serving people something that will bring them happiness…exactly what every other get-in, get-out coffee shop is lacking.
The attention to detail when it comes to ingredients is far, far above anything you’ll ever get at one of the chain coffee shops. The coffee is incredible - I’ve been ruined for life and all other coffee shops taste like a horrible, syrupy, chemical mess to me now.
Do yourself a favor and try the monthly specials - they always surprise and delight (and usually come with a little treat to boot!). Some of my personal favorites that are always on the menu include the mocha (the very reason I fell in love with Yogi’s - it’s the perfect blend of mocha but without the insane sweetness everywhere else has), the dirty chai latte, and - when I really need a treat - the bicerin. To die for.
Her pastries are all locally-sourced from other small businesses in and around Naperville. We love the veggie empanada when it’s available, and the kids love the assortment of scones and muffins.
Supporting this local business is a no-brainer - I’m a...
Read moreI’ve visited Yogi’s cafe a couple times and I love it! Yogi’s prices are fair for the quality of ingredients she uses. These days, we’re paying upwards of 7 or 8 dollars for a latte from Starbucks, but there is no transparency there. Some ex employees of Starbucks have admitted that their bakery items are frozen for over a year before use, for example. I love Yogi’s because she tells you where her food and ingredients come from. Yogi cares about quality and has told me she loves supporting her community and fellow women in business, therefore she aspires to acquire her ingredients and items from women owned, local, and natural based businesses.
The lattes and pastries at Yogi’s were phenomenal. I personally love adding a floral twist to my lattes, like rose or lavender and I was beyond satisfied with both drinks she had on her menu that offered those flavors! In addition, she has non-dairy milk which is a must for me. If you’re unsure of what you want to try, ask yogi! Not only will she offer guidance, but she will educate you on the different types of ingredients and how they can benefit you (ie. Turmeric, matcha, cardamom).
The cafe is SPOTLESS and a PERFECT location for work, study, and or just sitting to enjoy your coffee.
You can immediately tell business and coffee is a great passion of Yogi. I highly recommend...
