The food is exceptional, atmosphere is intimate and packed with stimulating family games, and above all that Danny the owner is always behind the counter sharing his joy and love for quality and community. The discreet manner of the location feels akin to an old speakeasy - a subtle door that leads to a hallway once ventured exposes the shop itself - I believe sushi this good SHOULD feel like a private affair - and at the forefront of this hidden little seafood fusion is integrity and love. Hands down the best sushi in Narragansett—no competition. After a beach day, I stumbled upon Umi Sushi and was immediately welcomed by the owner, Umi, whose kindness and hospitality stood out from the start. He offered thoughtful recommendations, made accommodations, and even surprised me with a free house salad, samples of the lobster crab Rangoon, a discounted roll, and a free water—all just to be kind.

I was craving sushi for lunch. I looked up on google map the closest spots. This place was the highest rating and it lived up to the expectation. I was excited to find a gem that energetically matched my vibe and delighted my palate. Fresh handmade sauces and crab rangoon.
