I feel horrible leaving your restaurant a 1-star review. Restaurants were affected greatly by COVID-19 and one would think that the employees would be going above and beyond to offer an absolutely exceptional service - you’re very, very lucky to be open, and your employees are beyond lucky to still have jobs!
I’ve ordered from Giovannis via GrubHub. Amazing roast beef, best I’ve had since moving to NH.
I was craving your roast beef but was in MA today so I tried going to the North Billerica location. They closed as I was pulling in (30 minutes early).
I called to make sure that the Nashua location would not be closing early tonight. They assured me they’d be open until 10pm.
When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by glares from the employees who had shut off the grills (40 minutes early) and the girl taking the orders let me know right away that the grills were off so most of the food was limited. I asked if I could order a super beef and she said “yes, but we can’t toast the buns.” I said fine.
My fiancé and I both ordered two super beefs - one three-way and one just cheese/sauce. I double-confirmed the order verbally because the girl who took our order kept glancing back at the kitchen where she was met with glares from the cooking staff repeatedly.
We were asked to wait in the car for our orders which was fine, safe and makes sense. However the girl who took our order did not have her mask covering her nose as was pointed out by several other people leaving 1-star reviews. The two cooking staff were not wearing masks. Personally I am not really bothered by this but some people may be. I ate the food I ordered, but I want to make you aware that you might continue getting reviews like this if your staff don’t comply with the city regulations.
We got home with our food. My fiancé couldn’t eat hers because it was a three-way, not cheese/sauce only. She packaged it for me to eat tomorrow for lunch but I might be throwing it away since mine (three-way) had so much mayonnaise it was almost not edible.
I feel that paying over $21 for two sandwiches they should be absolutely delicious and made to perfection.
I would love to change this review to a 5-star review. Your roast beef is great and I will be trying again. I hope your employees will start taking their jobs seriously and having respect and gratitude for your...
Read moreOk, I didn't like this place right out of the gate, but I gave it a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chance, maybe more. My order is so very simple.. Regular rst beef with 3 slices of provelone and extra sauce, toasted, and a plain rst beef for my dog. I always order a dressing for 1.59 to pay for the extras. My order is rarely the way I asked, even with special instructions that I write very kindly and respectfully each and every time. For example, I will order, ( the exact same always) when it arrives...It's either not toasted with no sauce or a cold sandwich or it doesn't have the extra cheese I paid for, or comes with a little provelone, toasted and yellow cheese sauce on the side ( still in my freezer) Why do I need yellow cheese sauce for a roast beef sandwich? Is anyone paying attention? I do not order anything else. I've also gone as far as sending someone in with a 10 dollar bill to pay for the extra cheese & sauce before I learned how to order the dressing to pay for the extras @ $1.59 each time. That is a thoughtful action.... to ask for that to be reciprocated, Is NOT asking too much. Yes, in my previous post, the manager/ owner got back to me and sked nicely to discuss the situation offline. I'm sorry but I've spent a lot of money at this establishment and I'm simply done. Making a sandwich with cheese & sauce is extremely simple. Why does it continue to show up? messed up? I refuse to put my money into that continuous question. Thanks...

I recently had the pleasure of trying Giovanis Roast Beef and Pizza, and let me tell you — it did not disappoint. I ordered their Super Beef sandwich on an onion roll, paired with a small order of waffle fries, and it was an absolutely satisfying meal from start to finish.
The Super Beef was exactly what you’d hope for: generous, perfectly sliced portions of roast beef that were incredibly tender and flavorful. Each bite practically melted in my mouth, with the soft, slightly sweet onion roll adding a perfect balance to the savory richness of the beef. It’s clear they know what they’re doing when it comes to roast beef — this wasn’t just good, it was memorable.
The small waffle fries were another highlight. “Small” is a bit misleading because the portion was huge — easily enough for two people. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and lightly seasoned, they held up well even after taking the meal to go, which is saying something!
Overall, Giovanis delivered a classic, comforting meal with generous portions and great flavor. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing food to go, you’re getting real value and a delicious experience. I’m already looking forward to my next...
