Why would someone rate a fast food place? We already know what to expect when we pull into a McBurgerby’s. Bland burgers, quick service, lack of attention to detail, etc.
I am however, compelled to write a glowing review for this particular Burger King. It was probably around 8 on a weekday when I rolled my stoned ass through the drive thru and ordered some double stacked bacon behemoth combo. I tossed it into my backseat and headed for the place I was originally going, about 3 minutes away. Before I joined my friends, I tore into the meal from the driver’s seat, illuminated by one of the front seat dome lamps and let me tell you.
It was as picturesque and perfect as any fast food meal I’ve ever had. All the ingredients of whatever burger I got were symmetrical and equally represented. The fries were still piping hot as was the burger. It honestly looked like someone was prepping this meal for a photo op. Every bite was as much of a joy as a fast food burger could ever aspire to be.
I consider this visit to this Burger King the definitive BK experience; the closest you’ll ever get to tasting what their test kitchens intend the general public to see and taste. I haven’t been back, but hopefully the quality maintains itself because I know where I’ll be going when I get the craving on that...
Read moreI went to the drive thru last week to pick up food for a friend. When I pulled up I was yelled at by someone inside that the drive thru wasn't working and that I would have to come inside. I drove around the building and parked my car and went inside. This was my first trip inside a Burger King in approximately 25 years as I don't eat meat. Immediately the smell of cooking meat hit me in the face and I became nauseous. The employees weren't too friendly and the lady that took my order wasn't very enthused about my being there. I wasn't either from the smell which was inescapable. Praying I could get out quickly this wasn't going to be the case. A man was in front of me waiting to get his order and I was the other customer inside. The other guy finally got his sack and left. An employee was making my order in the prep area and when she put the sandwich in the sack she kept looking into the sack and I was wondering what was in the sack. I was almost afraid to take it to my friend for fear of what was in there. I put the sack in the floorboard on the passengers side of my car due to the horrible odor emanating from the grease soaked bag. I brought it to my friend and that was the end of it. I never heard if she ate it or not but I for sure will never return to Burger King due...
Read moreFood and service quality were good and as expected. I've only come to this location when visiting this part of town, and this was my third time here. Each time I've been here (all over the last 6 months) I've come after 7pm. Each time I've ordered a shake with my meal and each time I've been told "the shake machine is down" going through the drive thru. I know from my own fast food worker experience (very long ago) that the shake machine requires daily cleaning, and that a common workplace strategy to ensure getting out of work on time in the evening is to have the cleaning tasks done on time......shutting the shake machine down early helps achieve that. Is that what's going here? Or, as a matter of pure coincidence, have I come through the drive thru on three separate occasions in 6 months when the shake machine just happened to be on the fritz? I don't know. Otherwise very good food...
